Default Were these songs performed?

I love the arrangements/treatments the Rumours-era band gave to older Fleetwood Mac songs. Rumour has it that the following songs were performed at one time or another.

Just Crazy Love
Child of Mine
Prove Your Love

Yet, with all the evidence of so many other older songs, how have these songs escaped the bootlegs? Is it just a rumour? I hope not.

I think I heard Prove Your Love once, but I might be getting it mixed up with something else or some song from Christine's Chicken Shack days with a similar title they performed too.

Have FM ever performed Chicken Shack songs? I've not heard of them doing Prove Your Love either but I know Christine did Just Crazy Love on the tour for her '84 album.

I think so. I don't remember the name, but it's somewhere on a 1975 concert from Largo, MD (it's a bit strange with Stevie wearing jeans and Mick beardless, but it's all good).

Hmm, I think I know which one you mean. Just can't put my finger on the track. Oh, actually, was it I'd Rather Go Blind? For some reason I seem to remember hearing them do that in 75 but it might be wishful thinking

That might be it, but I also know the song show that Chris can really sing the blues well and it reminded me of Gimme Some Lovin' by Spencer Davis group (you know, with little Stevie Winwood belting it out).

Hmm I'm at a loss Of the Chicken Shack tracks I have, none of Christine's have Love in the title but I might not have them all. If you remember, let me know because I might not have heard it and I really want to now

I think that one you mentioned is the right one. Try watching the show on YouTube. A vid description or a commenter (as my marketing professor would say, without an IQ of 2) might clarify.

Don't mean to go OT, but I heard in the Tusk doc that Chris had played bass in her first band. Is that true?

OK, now she really sounds like a female John Paul Jones: she played bass and keyboards (like he did) and just about every other instrument in existence (like accordion, snare drum, acoustic guitar, a chair...)

Maracas, one of Stevie's tambourines on The Dance... and I'm sure I've seen her with a double bass

I saw that pic once. Also, since she plays the organ, I wonder if she could play the Phanton of the Opera overture...

I just found a photo of her on which I thought she was playing the chair again, but she's playing a Glockenspiel so that's something else to add to the list

To answer the question from "further on up" the thread:

YES. Fleetwood Mac (w/Christine) HAS played Chicken Shack songs:

Get Like You Used To Be
I'd Rather Go Blind

But, as far as I'm able to discern, "I'd Rather Go Blind" hadn't been performed (publicly, anyway) since the '74 tour. "Get Like You Used To Be" was the set starter pretty much from '75 to late '76, when "Say You Love Me" finally supplanted it.

I not sure if (but I highly doubt) "Prove Your Love" has been performed since '74.

I think "Just Crazy Love" is getting confused with "Believe Me" since they're on the same album back to back...."Believe Me" was in the set for a short time in '77 (once again added for the first time since '74), replacing the set staple "Spare Me A Little Of Your Love". I don't think "Just Crazy Love" has been performed since '74.

There are rumours (no pun intended) that they performed "Child Of Mine" with Stevie handling lead vocals early on in '75, but there's been no confirmation (via recording or mention by the band itself)
