My interest in the band started to wane around 2009 when the greatest hits tours started to become a thing. Last time I saw them live was in 2004 on the Say you Will Tour and I haven't seen Stevie solo since the Timespace Tour in 1991 (Yikes!). My Dance date in Vancouver was cancelled just prior to the start of the show so missed that tour entirely. In hindsight, should have gone in 2014, but was not interested at all in the 2018 band. Recording wise though, I've never really stopped although certain albums I don't listen to anymore- Tango and Mask in particular, I did pull Mask out on the 30th anniversary and gave it a full spin, it hasn't aged well at all. Im a huge fan of the 75-82 live stuff and can't wait till the Mirage tour album comes out this week. I love the live stuff from the Tusk tour on the expanded live CD and deluxe Tusk as well.

For me, it depends on the album. Some, I'll try to like for 3-4 months, then give up. But for the ones I get addicted to? After several months of becoming obsessed, I'll realize that I want that album in my life for a LONG time, and I'll put it aside for a few weeks at a time, so I'll treasure it coming back. I'll take short bursts of it, to insure it's longevity in my life.

Exclamation

From 2009 to about now to be honest...just ordered the Rumours lineup albums to give them a go again I just had burnout after seeing 'em multiple times and having way too many bootlegs - thus my exile from FM land.
