Enya
So, who else is a fan here? This incredible Irish lady has been a part of my musical life since I was 21 back in 1992. I first heard about her watching the Stephen King movie Sleepwalkers in which her song Boadicea was played a the end credits. Her ability to create magical, dream-like songs to me is unmatched anywhere in the music business.

I went through a serious Enya phase in the 90's. I haven't listened to her music in a while. I was going through a tough time and used to love to listen to her music on the way home from work at 4am.

If I'm thinking of the correct singer and the correct song, I think , oh yeah, did she sing that song that went, "sail away sail away sail away?" If so, everytime I heard that song on my works music system( I was working as a waiter at that time) that song seemed to possess me and make me want to kill people.

I really like Enya. My favourites are probably China Roses, Anywhere Is, Only Time and Only If. She's who I listen to if I seriously neeed to relax. She also was a great soundtrack while I was writing the phD. I just hope that I can still relax while listening to her and she won't always make me think of staying up until all hours wth too much coffee!
