Default RIDERS ON THE STORM (The Doors)

Ray Manzarek and the other DOORS guy (not the drummer) have formed a band called RIDERS ON THE STORM

Tomorrow they will play in Lima, they just arrived from Buenos Aires. Has anybody gone to their concert? Any review? I'm looking for the set list but only found from their last year tour.

Dear Villavic--- As a Doors fan, I found your post very interesting. I had not heard of this new band. Dio you have any other info? Best always, Madelow.

Yeah, very interesting. I haven't heard anything about this. Do you know if they'll be doing Doors music or new stuff?

Well, I enjoyed the show, it was very good. They played several Doors songs, the most I enjoyed were When the music is over, Break on through, LA Woman, and of course Light my fire.

ex-Fuel frontman Brett Scallions was the leading voice. He played, danced and moved very similar to Morrison, a very good show.

My big surprise was that the original members Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, look very, very, veeeery old!! OMG looks like they reeally payed the toll. I mean, I've seen Roger Waters, Mick Fleetwood, recent videos of some R.Stones members, Grace Slick, but these guys looked like their grandpas..

anyway it was a very good show, though I'd include other popular Doors songs.

the set list:
O Fortuna intro
Dead Cats,Dead Rats rap/Break On Through
Love Her Madly
When The Music's Over
band intros
The Soft Parade
The Soft Parade (reprise)
Moonlight Drive/Horse Lattitudes/Louie Louie
Wild Child
Alabama Song
Back Door Man
Gloria
Robby Spanish Caravan intro/The Mosquito
Spanish Caravan
Touch me ('Sex Machine' intro)
LA Woman

Encore: Light My Fire

I'm not sure how old Robby is but Ray is almost 70.
