Thumbs up She's Back!

Yes, the queen is back & that song is on her new album. I'm talking Ms. Disco Donna Summer. First studio album in 17 years! I've always liked her, but I've never bought any of her music before & I grew up in the 70s. Really liked the disco music. KC and the Sunshine Band are still my favorites from that era. Anyway, when I saw Donna Summer perform on Dancing with the Stars, & they said that she had a new album coming out, I had to get it. Especially after she sang the very first song on this album, Stamp Your Feet. I was worried though, would it be any good after all this time? Oh yes it is. I even like the title song, Crayons, featuring Ziggy Marley which is a reggae song. Normally I don't like reggae but it is really catchy. Not all the songs on this album are disco though & I really like them, too. I even made my mother a copy of this album & she likes it. She's a big Donna Summer fan anyway. This is a very good album IMO.

I'm a big fan, I saw her in LA in 2005, great show.

But.. 17 years?? I remember I bought a new single, Con te partiro (pop version of an old italian song), I thought it was part of a studio album, but maybe it was just a bonus from her live cd (and dvd) she released in the late 90s. Am I right?
