It sucks already, without lindsey buckingham and the importance of his contributions to the band they simply
would not be able to exist right now.
I think you just said that to piss of LB fans. His guitar abilities outweigh both Vito and Burnett put together. And even with his modesty he even admitted that.
I also dont see Big Love, Never Going Back Again, Go Insane, Im So Afraid, Eyes Of the World, I know Im Not Wrong, Second Hand News. And absolutely nothing from the Recent Say You Will Album.

Hello, knock knock !! is anybody in there.

As much as I too would love to see this line-up of the band in concert (and I say this as both a Lindsey Buckingham fan and Billy Burnette fan), it would never happen, and if it did, it would never work.

First of all, I don't see Christine McVie rejoining the fold - EVER.

Secondly, even with Stevie onboard, there are far too many people who would look at this lineup and say "That isn't Fleetwood Mac" and the tour likely wouldn't make any money.

Third, not only would fans look at that lineup and say "That isn't Fleetwood Mac" they'd hear the setlist - with so few Rumours-era selections - and say "Those aren't Fleetwood Mac songs."

Ummm...Lindsey Buckingham is not the be all, end all of Fleetwood Mac. He definitely is the most spoiled, egotistical, insane bastard they've ever had, though. And, if you disparage Rick Vito again, I'll have to call you a nincompoop.

Give me a Fleetwood Mac lineup WITHOUT Lindsey & Stevie ANY day of the week. Those two make me sick.

Hello

In response to Madness Fades.

In your opinion this line up sucks.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

This is the line up that i would like to see(even though it would probably not happen)
Why is it that when anyone says anything about not having LB in the band, its an affront to them.

There is mor to FM that LB.
Fleetwood Mac was there before LB and was there when he quit and will still be there as long as Mick and John still want to play.

No i have not been to many FM concerts , but after seeing 3 different line ups and owning all the bands cd's, i feel that LB would be no loss.

Even though i enjoyed the FM concert at Earls Court on the last Tour, it was by far the worst FM concert that i have seen.

Oh by the way, i felt 'Say You Will ' record was very poor.

Any lineup without Dave Mason or Bekka Bramlett is fine with me. Of course without Lindsey and Stevie, they would be opening up for Mr. Big, Trixter and Ratt on the County Fair circuit.

Hello, knock knock !! is anybody in there.
Who **** in your salad? This is a forum for fans of the 87-94 FM era. If his intent was to piss off LB fans he would have posted it in the LB forum. What a stupid post to make. Some people like the music of this era of the band. It is perfectly fine to make a wish list set list of a show they would like to see. He said nothing negative about Lindsey in his post at all.

So I will ask you, Knock Knock anyone home?

I seriously doubt LB is better guitar wise than the two of them. Vito especially is a very acomplished player in his own right. LB is very good but he is not incredible enough to warrant that.

But there would have to be a nod to his influence over the years. As much in terms of production values and writing as guitar playing. Any reasonably acomplished finger style player can play his guitar parts with a little practice but the "feel" and sound is something else..

yeah! let's start a Skill-versus-feeldiscussion. We never had one before! I don't think I say something shocking if I state that I agree with Madness Fades here. Vito is a fantastic guitarplayer. But there the comparison ends.

Lindsey Buckingham is a record producer who happens to be a more than competent guitarist. Rick Vito is a guitar player through & through.

Apples & oranges.

apples and oranges squashed to pulp, I'd say. couldn't disagree more, Steve. But hey! let's keep it there.

They cant do GOYW!!! thats tottaly LBs song, and it just doesnt work for Rick/Billy.

Dissagree with the Lineup, but what can I say, im Buckingham obsessed

I do like your setlist though for this lineup aside from GOYW, too many Stevie solo though.

And just throwing it out there. Id rather be at a show with just L/C and M/J than with just S/L/M/J.... Ive decided Christine contributes more to the group, but I would go if the BTM lineup were to tour just to see Chris.

And its true, most of the people at mac shows only go to see stevie, if she didnt do the dance, it would have been a waste...

Have you HEARD their versions from the 1987/88 & 1990 tours? It kicks ass!

Rick is such a talented guitar player. I sent an email to him a while back just saying how much I appreciated his work. Surprisingly enough, he (or someone from his website) responded back.
