Old Gift of Screws

Hello all,

I'm new here but I am pretty recent hardcore Lindsey fan. I love Gift of Screws, but I haven't been able to find any currently active downloads for the old Gift of Screws that has the Say You Will tracks on it. I was wondering if any fellow Lindsey fans could help me out? Thanks a bunch guys!

MacAttack, I haven't got any for you because I have no idea how to post mp3s but someone will help you out. However, welcome!

It's so awesome to meet a new Lindsey fan. And pray tell, how did you suddenly become a "hardcore" LB fan? I'm just curious because I love to hear these kinds of things.

I'm pretty sure recently someone posted these mp3s on some thread. I'll check and see if I can find but in the meantime I'm sure someone will help you out before that.

Well Nico, I have been aware of and a casual fan of Fleetwood Mac since around the time of The Dance when I was 11 years old, and Lindsey just blew me away with his version of Big Love. However, I really got into them when they helped me through a break-up last September. I had heard so much about Tusk that I decided to buy it and it just clicked with me. I had never really had music speak to me like that on such a complete level before and the Lindsey songs are what jumped out at me, that mixture of sadness, longing, regret, anger, hurt, spite...that was everything that I was feeling. I bought the rest of the discography, including Lindsey's solo records and I have been hooked ever since. I saw them on tour in Boston a few weeks back and it was a wonderful experience. I cannot get over what a musical genius Lindsey is!

I downloaded this from some site before the real GOS came out (and it has the SYW tracks on there as mentioned), although I think I might have deleted one track as it didn't fit on a CD...

I've absolutely no idea if this is what everyone is talking about or not, but hopefully it is of some use to someone?

While we're on this topic, can someone please upload the GOS version of Peacekeeper? (preferably the 320kpbs version) Its one of the files that I lost when my computer died last week, and the original disc is packed up somewhere.

Man, I have just been blown away by the original GOS. All of the SYW tracks sound much better to my ears. And I enjoy Twist of Fate better than I do Right Place to Fade. Is there a studio version of My Little Demon floating around or is that just on The Dance?

To my ears, Come and TOF/RPTF are basicly the same. but on the rest i agree.

There's a GOS version of My Little Demon, with a much different vibe than the Dance version. Less playful, more gritty I think.
