I'm on an epic quest to write an 8 page paper in a matter of hours. It's 4 o'clock and I'm on page 2. I've vowed that this will be the last time I put off a paper until the last minute...this semester.

Oh man, Marissa! Good luck -- you can do it! I've been putting things off too lately. It's like I have zero motivation... which is not good, kids. Not good at all.

For instance, I had a philosophy midterm an hour ago.
We've been on "fall break" for the past five days and today was our first day back to classes. So yeah, not exactly great timing. I definitely didn't open my notes all weekend.

I'm pretty sure it totally just kicked my ass. Hopefully I was able to B.S. some stuff to make it sound good hahaha.

Page 3 now! What philosophy class are you in? I took a seminar on George Eliot and the Philosophical novel my first semester where we read her translation of Feuerbach and absolutely loved it.

I'm sure you scored much higher than you think

that it gets worse...just wait until you are a senior.
I have 6 months until I graduate college and I feel absolutely NO motivation to do any school work.
so far it hasn't impacted my grades but I'm sure it will if I don't get a fire going under my ass.
where are my matches?

I've got approximately an hour and a half to write two History essays. I know how you feel.

I had a Spanish quiz third hour today... that I forgot about. >.<

And yesterday I had a Physics test... but I "forgot" to study for that one. I got 105%. Which means I got all of the questions including the extra credit right. Studying normally does me no good. All it does is make me freak out that I'm going to fail. All of my friends make fun of me for this tatic, but they don't have 4.0s!

Ha thanks, girl!

This is Beginning Philosophy. So honestly, it's not that hard but for some reason my mind just doesn't wanna process it.

Cool The current U2 touring show...

has 70 (!) semi-trucks carrying the equipment to put on the show...So many trucks that the streets around OU's football stadium (aka Blow-U) has been closed since Tuesday.

I'm not attending the show, But I am impressed with the stage setup being constructed.

I am very impressed too! This is a picture of the setup. You might have been the first one to show us this photo?

I don't know from where. I just liked the picture in a morbid humourous sort of way.
