Mirage tour. WAY too much chorus on Lindsey's guitar for my tastes.

White Album Tour
As much as I do love this tour...they had much more material to play with live later on that was their own, that makes the later tours so much better by comparison.

The White Album tour - to go
great tour, but La Nicks had not come into her own and LB was still shaky on the older FM stuff. But, when they clicked - SHEEBUS - see live Why as an example.
But, by the Rumors tour, they were all at the top of the 70's game and it was just better IMO. The Tusk tour was the oddest one here. By then, I think they were all a little tired of each other. I also think the voices were changing a little for the worse. But, Tusk had Sara and that may make it win for me, though the SS on the first part of the Rumors tour is one of the best things I have ever heard in my life. |

Mirage was reverbing all over the ****ing house -- except for the venues they did outdoors, like the festivals, Irvine Meadows & Alpine Valley.

Rumours tour. I find the set lists of the 1975 tours to be more interesting. They had the pre-1975 pop-rock, some blues, Buckingham Nicks tunes, and new songs, and they tended to mix things up a bit. They also mixed things up a bit more on the "Tusk" tour, too. The "Rumours" tour, at least after they dropped all of the pre-1975 stuff, save "Oh Well," was pretty boring. A set list of songs that were almost entirely from two albums really doesn't do anything for me.
Actually, this band was at their BEST during the '76 tours. The "Rosebud" era. The time when the white album wasn't exactly new, but "Rumours" hadn't been released. They were doing the new songs, but they were still doing the really old songs. So, it had a very nice mix. Moreover, the band itself was absolutely smoking, not needing ANY extra musicians, not even Ray Lindsey. And, Stevie's voice was still very strong (although Christine was starting to do the higher harmonies live). But, these tours aren't really an option.

B) At least four! Sure, they do many of the same songs, but no two sets are exactly the same. Nothing like the SYW tour (although, oddly, they did different sets each time I saw them on that tour).
