Well, quite.

Probably not playing football, basketball or surfing like the kid either, lol. Keep that walking up, Lindsey!

As for the tummy pudge and boobs? Totally endearing, though I never thought this shirt enhanced the breastage particularly well.

Casual wear makes it more noticable, I should think, in some ways.

(and yes, the gif and last image were from publicly accessible Vine accounts - I'm not betraying privacy or anything, fwiw)

ok that red shirt is just the worst.. it looks like a woman's top, with some sort of empire waist --the way it tucks in just under the breasteses is awful. Burn it. Now.

It does fit like a nightgown in that particular photo. The way the sweat makes it cling there is unfortunate. But overall, I don't think it was bad. It's just a normal t=shirt, no special cut and no tailored waist or bodice . The only bad part was that he wore it the whole tour and considered it a "costume" (as revealed when he talked about SNL). It would have been nice if he had switched up.

Ok I will admit these visuals aren't the most flattering of Linds, but I feel like it's all relative in photograph. Lindsey is such an angular, small-built guy that any extra pound is probably noticeable- particularly when he chooses to wear these basic-looking, loose-fitting/non-fitted items. I have expressed for years how I feel about his fashion choices. Shoot, I even made a thread on it somewhere (though most of my little pictures disappeared).

I feel deeply that Lindsey is such a singular, epic talent that his looks and/or style are so superfluous to what matters most. But the fact that he's such a handsome guy and could do SO much better in his outfit choices but seems to have an undying affection for Hanes, well, I get a little sad.

Bruce Springsteen is the same age as him and Bruce just gets it with his style. But you can't win them all I guess...

Lindsey is still an amazingly good-looking old git and powerful in ever way on that stage. So he can get it regardless of his fashion fails.

I LOVE Lindsey, but this is so true. I could laugh endlessly about it.

you know it's funny, I was watching an interview recently with Paul Stanley (from Kiss..he's hyping a book) and he said something like "make no mistake about it, guys on stage in torn jeans and teeshirts are wearing a costume just as much as I am" and explained that you know, they are rich and make millions and live in mansions but are perpetuating the myth that they are still the same struggling musicians they were before. That it's all about a deliberate creation of an image.

Seinfeld often remarked that the others got into wardrobe for the show and he did too. He took off his own jeans, sneakers and sweater and put on another set of almost identical jeans, sneakers and sweater. He couldn't explain fully why he bothered to change, but it was part of the process of performing.

Of course, the problem in FM is Lindsey doesn't bother to change enough.

Just hope you aren't downwind…

And it's kind of funny considering just HOW much money he has. Didn't Stevie once say he made the most because he got a producer's cut? (now that might mean he made most on FM albums; one would have to think she's made more overall due to the success of her solo career. Still, he ain't hurting. Buy a new freaking shirt)

You could say that about Stevie too. At some point in her progression she became allergic to color. How many versions of black dresses can you have? Her minimal varients are almost as limited as Linsdey's white tee-shirts. Only on a rare occasion, like a sighting of Big Foot, does she bust out a dress that isn't black. I still can't over the fact that she chose to wear a white, bride-like dress to Mick Fleetwood's wedding. What the hell was she thinking?

That is why I love photos from the era 1975-1982. Their clothes were visually more diverse and interesting, with much more color and style.

Look at the recent photo in the promotion for their upcoming tour. All of them are dressed in black! They almost look an old biker gang. It's harsh and overdone.
