Guess What I Found... and old thread from 2008! It has a list of Rhiannon Film Project songs and Lady is one of them (Not lady from the mountain)

BlueCrystal was posting about unheard demos and the "Rhiannon" film project. "Lady" isn't one of the "Rhiannon" songs.

It looks like they think it was Knockin' On Doors. Note that they also mention Carousels in there, and also reference that it was on NicksFix. Guess I wasn't imagining things.

By my reckoning, "Lady" could be any of the following:

"Knocking On Doors"
"Rich Old Lady"
"China Doll"
"Lady From The Mountain"

My preference would be for "China Doll" to be resurrected, but I would also love a contemporary version of "Rich Old Lady".
I realise it's likely that "Lady" will turn out to be "Knocking On Doors", but I wouldn't have thought it would be considered single-worthy.
Imagine if it turned out to be "Lady From The Mountain" with the intense "so go with her" passage? Wow, that would be quite something...

i would LOVE "Lady" to be Lady from the Mountain ... ala the RAL demo/outtake
Moonlight is good ... but it's not the same
i kind of secretly hope that she dusted off the original demo and redid it without all the additional "Twilight" influenced caca

With the single release of "Lady" looming (8/25), I was just wondering how the pre-order single digital downloads will work? Upon purchase of the 24KG bundle, the download of "The Dealer" was made immediately available, but it had already been released on ITunes. With regard to the three follow-up singles, does anyone know if those who pre-ordered 24KG will receive email notifications that the downloads are available? I'm assuming these will be issued concurrently with the ITunes release dates, but is there confirmation of what will actually occur?

So, we're allegedly getting the Lady single on Monday. Something that occurred to me is that, since there are three singles, and 6 tracks with running times available in iTunes (other than The Dealer), what if...

1. The Dealer was just the promo single for the record? and
2. Lady is the first official single, and will be complete with music video and b-side? and
3. The other two singles also come with b-sides, and possibly music videos as well?

That would at least explain the bizarre presence of some, but not all, running times in iTunes. Maybe we'll actually get two songs on Monday. I'm sure that's way too much to ask.

I managed to get my hopes up anyway, lol.

But also, Warner Bros. says the singles are TBD. So what if the three songs we think are singles are actually the b-sides, and Blue Water, I Don't Care, and If You Were My Love are actually the singles? Could you imagine if we got Blue Water and Lady on Monday?

Ok, I'm going to stop hyperventilating over something that's extremely unlikely and go to bed.

I just checked out the NZ iTunes store because a few people on Tumblr were asking me about the song during the past hour, and it's available for download there now. Waiting on the Australian store to get its act together so I can get the whole thing.
