24 Karat Gold-The Song
This is an incredibly fantastic song!! I have been a huge fan of Stevie and Fleetwood Mac for years and for whatever reason (perhaps investing in yet another "Stevie Demo") I chose to not listen is song until I knew about the inclusion on the new album.
I have to say-I have a hard time understanding how did this demo stay buried for so many years and never make it to an album. I can't stop listening to this song. I know it's a simple piano piece and the music is a bit repetitive in parts, but I love the change of the piano tempo up/down along with her very beautiful "chain of chain" lyrics. I think this beautiful rambling song would have had a nice home on The Wild Heart or RAL. Anyone else feel the same? |
