I think it will be- and this is what will gain Stevie critical attention as well. For me, critical acclaim will be the ultimate vindication; album sales/charts don't mean much these days. We've already heard a couple of rave reviews of the aged & raw sound of Stevie's vocals on the Dealer. Critics love grit & realness, and it is sounding like this album is squarely hitting that mark.

I know I brought this up earlier, but after listening to the original Belle Fleur demo this week along with the new clip, I can't help but think this song in particular could really make a splash on the country scene. I'm guessing putting out a radio single specifically for country radio isn't even on Camp Stevie's radar, but it really should be. Especially after her recent CMA performance & collaborations with Lady Antebellum, the country world is primed for Stevie.

You're so right on! Any of Stevie's country- leaning songs should be given special attention. I'm absolutely in love with what she did with Lady Antebellum (I've watched it about a dozen times). She really exposed and endeared herself to a country-based demographic; a potential fan base who were likely indifferent or misunderstanding of the scope of her talent. She charmed them with her authenticity. When I found out she was recording in Nashville, I initially thought she was making a country album.

After a few more listened this still doesn't wow me like mable Normand. Still not remotely nervous that I won't love the album or even end up loving the song. Although it does have a gate and garden sable on blinded vibe and I love both of those. Just need to hear the full song. This clip is basically identical to my feelings on the dealer clip and I love the full dealer.
