before BuckVie album came out, he was talking about solo album / box set and it sounded like it would be the same label as BuckVie.

Default that

that would suck only because the majority of his SOLO stuff is under Warners, and OOTC is with Warners, And I would hope that his solo stuff and the music videos (OOTC) would all be included in a box set

Atlantic is under Warners too. so your concerns are alleviated if he would be with Atlantic!

I really hope this album has a firm January release and Lindsey has time to squeeze in a tour before the 2018 FM tour. I need to see him and really hope he'll hit Toronto or the Buffalo area

Does anybody think this "Pop" album will become a Fleetwood Mac album and be released in March 2018 prior to the tour?

no.

but i could live with that, if it would be released before the 2018 FM tour. but we know that will never happen.

I am worried that it will get pushed back fro after the FM tour, like BuckVie was pushed back for 2 mac tours, basically. in that case we may not see it till 2020. i REALLY REALLY hope that will not happen and this album will come out in Jan or Feb 2018, as LB said.

I don't think so....I think Lindsey wants something of his own out now.
He and Christine might start work on something new together, but I think they're (especially LB) done holding their breath, waiting for Stevie!

Default Buckingham Solo vs. FM Album

While there is a precedence for LB material to get rolled into an FM album (Tango, Say You Will), I don’t see that happening this time. LB has stated that he needs to complete one song to complete the album (which he is hopefully completing now). The deal with Warners for Buckingham McVie likely included a deal to release his (Lindsy’s) next solo CD, along with an LB Greatest Hits collection. If they could not convince Stevie to get on board for an FM album with the great songs produced for Buckingham McVie, it is highly unlikely they will ever do so now or in the future. I personally believe that ship has sailed. Any new music we see from here on out will be solo projects by the three songwriters or, perhaps, a Buckingham McVie II.

Yes to all of the above. I really hope that's the deal re the record co and that it really happens. I think the band members and lb are aware that wasting so much time waiting on the whole FM to get on the same page re album is not an option anymore.

Default Grammy Nominations to be Announced on November 28, 2017

It would be awesome if Buckingham McVie was nominated (as Mick has suggested).

Would love to see another BuckVie album. In the meantime, looking forward to his new solo album.

I'd love a new Fleetwood Mac album but its just not going to happen. Stevie's made it clear she just isn't interested. Furthermore I think Lindsey deserves the opportunity to release a solo album. He showed loyalty in doing the Buckingham McVie album and its only right he has the chance to do his own thing now. Its 6 years since he released a solo album- If it weren't for all the waiting he could have released several records in that time.
