Ahh come on Madness, It stands for Lindsey Buckingham Turner model I.

My question would be:

Why the hell did you leave the possibility to make a guitarnoiserockalbum after Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, White Stripes????

I still think it would be an interesting effort.... Do it while you can!

Im Still not sure about this one, why didnt they use a "1" instead of an I. Plus he uses other Guitars and does not endorse the Model 1 in any way.

However, to make it interesting I will wager you 10 Euros on this that That is NOT what it stands for, if he answers this question. (Roughly the cost of the New CD).

i wouldn't ask any of these since not really guitar / musical questions but are some of the questions that bug me:
  • considering he's going diy route why is he (or his people) not on all different social media like twitter? (his supposed PR person is on twitter but the only LB-related tweets are from Jeremy Cowart and jokerstyle productions (which are greatly appreciated, but these are not real PR)
  • why doesn't he fire his website people or get them in shape? and related to that, does he have his US distribution setup yet?
  • what's up with his dead youtube channel? (if any of his kids are into making these things why doesn't he give them a chance since anything would be better than what he currently has)?

I wouldn't even know where to begin to ask Lindsey, Johnny, or Hooky a question... although of all three of them I would beg: "Come home!"

Hopefully the magazine will pick the music and technically oriented questions. But since I didn't have any of those I asked him about his kids and also begged him to do some solo work, a final duet, anything, with Christine, just one more time, as a goodbye for the fans. I thought 1997 was the beginning of something, not the end and I feel I never got closure.

This is how I've sent in the question:

Dear Lindsey,

Why did you leave the possibility to make a guitar-noiserock album after Sonic Youth, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, White Stripes???? I know you have great respect for some of those bands, and your live guitar-playing style would match such an approach. Especially in combination with your perfected acoustic style you could make a folknoise-album that would shock and inspire the indie music world.

I still think it would be an interesting effort.... don't you?
