Default Who on this board has been Coon Hunting???

So who besides me have been on a coon hunt?
I'm talking about walking through the woods
and swamps, spiders and snakes and the ole'
coon hunting dogs treeing a coon. For animal
lovers I'll leave out the last part.

When I have more time, I'll tell yall about my
father's coon hunting monkey.

Using the letters RA would change my story. Jerry Clower always called
them coons. I had a mean one as a pet....for a short time.

My friend I'm all too aware of those pesky little rodents.
My brother was bitten in the leg by one of those Bama squirrels
just this year. (and that's no lie)

I was on a snipe hunt in the Boy Scouts.

That really pissed me off, as I recall.

I was bitten on the leg by a three-year-old human. So I'm all too aware of those pesky little rodents.

I've been coon hunting before.

Although I only carried the cooler.

With a chaw of Redman in my jaw.

From which I almost threw up.

I'd drank way too much wine.

And I had to hide my tears, when they shot the coon out of the tree, and the dogs were ripping it to shreds.

I never went coon hunting again. And they never knew I cried.

David, I know all about Snipe hunting. I'm going to take my four year old
nephew out for a hunt of those mysterious creatures.

Seekerj, I've been bitten too.

HomerMcVie, Redman, Wine and dogs ripping apart a coon. Sounds
like you've been on a real coon hunt.

I never liked shooting the coon out of the tree, I guess that's what we had
our pet monkey for.

I bet PETA would like this thread.

I don't care for hunting at all.......well except for Snipe
like David had mentioned.

On a side note, there were over five deer in my yard last night.

Yep, I grew up in the ranks of real rednecks. I can pull that image off, too, if necessary.

Me too And I actually am a member of PETA, but I don't want to put a damper on everyone's Coon Hunting so I will respect everyone's views on it, and hunting in general.
