Bumpity bump!
Checked Ticketek this arvo as I always do and noticed that they now have the Fleetwood Mac waitlist on their home page. Sure, they're saying it's for a potential Australian tour, and the waitlist has probably been available for ages, but I totally squeed anyway. The Nickelback waitlist turned into the real deal (unfortunate but true) after a month or so on the home page so my fingers are crossed! In any case, there's little Mac faces on Ticketek - squee worthy I tell you! Last edited by DoubtfulMiracle; 07-22-2009 at 05:45 AM.. |

Yes, see the ticketmaster story for New Zealand. It says December 29th in New Plymouth Bowl of Brooklands but I am certain it is 19th from someone in the know.

Mac to Australia mention in article...
Nui Te Koha
Paul McCartney heads star tour acts heading to Australia August 09, 2009 12:00am PAUL McCartney is planning Australian concerts as part of his final world tour next year. His plan to include Australia in his farewell tour coincides with a decision by other superstars, including Fleetwood Mac and Neil Diamond, to play Down Under this year and in 2010. British reports say Sir Paul, 67, wants to perform the shows at famous landmarks. China's Tiananmen Square and Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie are on his wish-list. Several Brazil dates are set for April. Fleetwood Mac, with frontwoman Stevie Nicks, is strongly tipped to do arena and select winery dates in December. These shows can be risky - they are usually highly priced, the weather can ruin them, acoustics are often difficult and the traffic/parking issues at these places make them a right pain! It will be inetresting to see if any eventuate. The promoters seem to talk the artists into them. I don't think Stevie will like them - imagine if she has to get up at 8am for an afternoon show? |

Couple of questions - do they do any Stevie Nicks solo songs? Is the set list a "greatest hits"? Any rarities?
