Really great to see SATC getting a wider release. It is one of my favourites from the SWS songs, even though it doesn't fit with the rest of them. I was listening to it a while ago thinking Christine could work great on it. I wonder if it completely rerecorded if we will have a SYW-type scenario where it is opened up for her harmonies.

I'm really glad none of the EP songs have been recycled for this. Apart from Sad Angel (which needs Stevie's vocals more than Christine's) none were quite strong enough to use again.

Now... can we guess which ones will be Lindsey lead vocals and which will be Christine? My guess based on song titles and vaguely remembering previous copyright info we had years ago:
1 - Lindsey
2 - Christine
3 - Lindsey
4 - Lindsey
5 - Christine
6 - Lindsey
7 - Lindsey
8 - Christine
9 - Christine
10 - Lindsey

Hello all---

A friend of mine who's in the news business shared this. I don't think I've seen the whole thing posted yet, but apologies if it has.

Subject: LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM & CHRISTINE McVIE Announce New Album Available June 9

LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM AND CHRISTINE McVIE
ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Longtime Collaborators Team Up For First Duo Record,

Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie,

Available From Atlantic Records On June 9

First Single “In My World” Available This Friday On All Digital And Streaming Services

The Duo Will Hit The Road For A Special Engagement Of U.S. Shows Starting June 21st

LOS ANGELES – Longtime members of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have joined together to record their first-ever album as a duo. Simply titled LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM/CHRISTINE McVIE, the 10-song album will be released by Atlantic Records this summer, followed by a run of special U.S. concerts. The first single “In My World” will be available this Friday, April 14, on all digital and streaming services.

The album will be available June 9 on CD, LP, and all digital and streaming services. The U.S. tour will begin on June 21st.

The collaboration began three years ago, when McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac for the group’s “On With The Show” tour. The pair went in to record new material prior to rehearsals for the tour and their natural creative chemistry was reignited. According to Buckingham, “We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically. The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, ‘what took us so long?!!’”

Working their natural singer songwriter skills together came easily for the duo. Said Christine McVie, “We’ve always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiraled into something really amazing that we’ve done between us.”

Sessions for the album took place at The Village Studios in Los Angeles, which is where Fleetwood Mac recorded several of their classic albums, including Tusk. Buckingham and McVie were joined in the studio by fellow bandmates Mick Fleetwood and John McVie, who supplied much of the dynamic rhythmic engine.

"It's a huge honour for East West and WMG to partner with two of the best artists in rock history who've written, recorded and performed some of the most popular and enduring music of all time. ‘Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie’ is a very special collaborative album that showcases both of their stunning talent,” said Dan Chalmers, President Rhino, East West & ADA UK. " We're very proud of our long and ongoing relationship with the band and confident that this record will be loved and enjoyed by Fleetwood Mac and music fans the world over."

Why bring Stevie in to this? She's not involved. She's too busy having the time of her life on a hugely successful solo tour. There's always someone that has to turn something nice into something bitter.

I'm surprised but pleased that it's only 10 tracks. Enough for a sequel or a Mac album left over?

ALSO: disappointed and beyond-intrigued that they changed their name from Buckingham McVie to Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie

Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie will release their first album as a duo, Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie, June 9th via Atlantic. The album is available to pre-order digitally, as well as on CD and vinyl. The first single, "In My World," will be available April 14th on digital and streaming services.

Duo, as Buckingham McVie, aim to release new album in May
Buckingham and McVie will also embark on a North American tour this summer, starting June 21st in Atlanta and wrapping July 27th in Denver. Tickets go on sale April 21st.

The longtime collaborators rekindled their working relationship in 2014 when McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac for their 2014 "On With the Show" tour. The pair recorded the LP at Village Studios in Los Angeles, where Fleetwood Mac also made several albums, including Tusk. Buckingham and McVie tapped bandmates Mick Fleetwood and John McVie to serve as the rhythm section for much of the album.

"We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically," Buckingham said of the record in a statement. "The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, 'What took us so long?!'"

Along with Buckingham/McVie and the duo's upcoming tour, Fleetwood Mac will headline a new bi-coastal festival this July. Classic East and Classic West will take place at Citi Field in New York and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, respectively. The lineup also boasts the Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Journey and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Well, I have to agree, Lindsey's face could discourage any indecisive casual fan on the brink of buying this album...
What have they done to him during this photo session?

We don't care about her. We're too busy having the time of our lives.
