Neil Young--Sorry but his voice is just not for me.

Kansas-- Can't get into it at all.

QFT. They totally suck. Its just been the recent renaissance that revolves around the "so-bad-its-cool" theory where "Don't Stop Believin'" got its second life.

If Journey is good for anything, they definitely keep the heat off Foreigner (as far as commercial/often tacky classic rock bands go)

asia, my husband bought their cd recently, i about died~ i hated them in highschool & my hate has done nothing but gotten worse over the years~ it sucked in the 80's watching mtv, waiting for a stevie or a mac video to come on & it always seemed they played an asia video that i had to painfully sit thru to see stevie~

i used to hate the rolling stones, but they have grown on me, especially their way older stuff~

is there a thread about hated song?~ i like the doors, but hate "riders on the storm", still do, sucked then, still sucks now~ when i was little i used to play the radio softly at night & that song would always come on & scare the crap out of me seriously~ i would hide under my covers too afraid to go change the channel & the song still freaks me out to this day~

Whoa I'm surprised at some of the bands named here. Metallica is together with FM my favourite band ever and I love 90's grunge and just rock in general.
Anyway, one band that's high on my "hate-list" is Supertramp,I dunno if that's even considered classic rock, but I think I might be allergic to them.

Neil Young - I kinda like his country-rock stuff...like Harvest. But everything else? ick, ick, ick. I think he and Dylan (and most '60s rockers, for that matter) wrote most of their lyrics when they were bombed out of their minds. They make no sense, yet the rock critics cream themselves over it. I'll take Cole Porter over Neil Young singing about getting high in a burned out basement any day.

Tho, to be fair, Harvest Moon is a beautiful song.
