Default Sales chart for this week

It looks like over 50% of the sales are in for this week and Lindsey is not in the top 50 so far. What number did Under The Skin debut at? I was really thinking that Gift of Screws would come in at least at #50 considering the amount of publicity this album has had compared to the last one. This chart is updated throughout the day so maybe he will get on there at some point. I know it sounds stupid but I want to see Lindsey's record do well on the charts!

You can always buy a few extra copies to give as gifts to friends throughout the year. That's what i do, a few people even become fans or find out, oh he stings this song?!? I love him!

That is very true. I still need to go out and buy my copy. I have been lazy about driving to the cd store and been really busy lately. I had one ordered from that comics place and then canceled that one so I will probably order from amazon tonight. I have heard the song samples and it sounds very good!
Maybe I will order a couple!

I bet he'd have cracked the top 50 if you had bought the cd.

well... we won't be able to get him into the top 50 now if the numbers are in for the week. I wish I had bought more copies. Also cancelled the newbury orders here so that took a big chunk out of my projected purchases. I think I bought: 2 for me. 1 for my brother. 1 for my mom. 4 for contest winners. So that's 8! I would have bought 5 more with the autographs! OH and the vinyl copy is supposed to be coming (new total: 9).

I KNOW, HA! I was going to go this weekend to get it but got busy and never made it to the freaking store. Maybe my purchase will push him over the top next week

well i went to download on friday night...and itunes credit card system was down...

but i guess i want to see the cd anyway in my hand...

so i'll give him some week 2 sales....

but don't sweat it... the critics love him and that's very important to LB... if he can't get sales... at least he gets lots of accolades from writers that barely know who he is...

A vast majority of people don't buy hardcopies anymore. It's all about the digital downloads. I think he debuted around #36 on the Itunes chart but has since fallen.

I don't give a **** where it falls. Charts mean nothing to me or Lindsey, how I like it matters.

Now when its a Stevie album I care about its sales because i know it matters to Stevie and poor sales mean Stevie goes on strike

I thought UTS has more publicity 2 years ago.

They had the album charts in USA Today, today and strategically placed right above the charts was an ad for GOS. So, I thought that was good.

Sadly, not big markets.

I think it's cute how some fans have posted to buying extra copies, etc. That's so sweet.

Sadly, GOS has dropped from Amazon CD's and album downloads. As I mentioned in another thread, he needs to sustain sales after the initial 2 - 3 weeks as fans always buy first.

But LB knows he is not gonna get the masses, he never has and his work is always great. Maybe it's better that LB is our little secret.

I'm thinking OTS came in somewhere around 85th its first week.
