Thank you for sharing!

I also mention that the festivals Stevie was going to play in May have been pushed to the fall.

The country could use a federal unemployment benefits extension, like the series of extensions passed into law from 2009 to 2013. In fact, we’ll probably need, before long, a new American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. I think at one point a series of state tiers were set up—each tier was worth a stretch of time to pay benefits, depending on the unemployment rate in each state.

I hadn’t thought about the effects on various Fleetwood Macs, but a number of related tours are probably going to be canceled this year, from Stevie to Lindsey to Mike Campbell’s band. It’ll be a year for watching concerts on Palladia, MTV Live, and what-all. Good time to finally show the 1982 US Festival!

It's a good time to write music. In fact, Lindsey could shut himself away in his recording studio and release a couple of double albums by the end of the year.

if Stevie started now, she might have one or two new songs by the time this crisis is over

And that is being generous..If she comes up with anything at all it will probably be about her ruminations regarding the pandemic itself. I shudder to think.

She’ll probably write a song about the Corona virus called My Corona, and it will be all about her.

Are you implying that $he's some sort of crazed narcissist?

It implies many people are still attentive to what she is going to do.

Didn't you know she once wrote a simple song called Sisters of the Moon that foresaw a global pandemic! That song is dedicated to all those who suffer at the hands of Coronavirus.

No one is going to be able to afford to go to concerts. They might as well cancel them all. There's a cool trend happening now where some artists are sitting in their living rooms and strumming a guitar and singing to us. I'd love to see the various members of FM do this type of thing from each of their homes.

Another good option to stay visible is to release several tracks (Stevie has a ton of them I bet) for streaming or download.
