Since Lindsey always liked to pull out a Tusk song for the tour, I always hoped that Honey Hi would see the stage like Storms and Beautiful Child did.

"Storms" could sit right next to "Woman of a Thousand Years" or "Show Me a Smile," or even "Future Games" and it wouldn't seem out of place.
interestingly Lindsey talked about how he thought anyone else producing that song would have gone down a country route in arranging it; he made it sound like that was the way Stevie herself thought about it. But he thought the arrangement needed to be more reflective of the lyrics and really support the words. Dam him.

No, not that one.
I fully support a government study to examine why someone would prefer Mystified over Oh Daddy (especially when someone says "I need a beat.") Unless they mean a beet from a salad bowl.

Only Over You - The beautiful atmosphere, the pleading and pain in Christine's voice, the marching drums, the beautiful guitar squawks, the ahhhhhhh's by BuckVie, the wonderful piano and guitar on the outro. The fact that it ended Side 1.

Mystified - The the sprinkle of bass and drums, the lush harmonies, the simpleness of the progression, the 'Only Over You' esque guitar solo, the BuckVie UUUUUUUUUUUUU's. and "Fiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeed". Mick's drums at the end. The fact that it ended Side 1.

Oh Daddy - The beautiful acoustic guitar intro, the sublime lead vocal, the pounding of (I think it's a D) on piano. The stylings of Christine's electric piano mixed with meddling organ and guitar. John's driving bass. The line, "And I can't walk away from you, baby if I tried." The shimmering in the quiet break, then the 'yessssss its go to be meeeeee" with all three voices on "yes". Then it rolls into Gold Dust Woman.

Mystified over Oh Daddy is mind boggling. They’re not even in the same world at all. Oh Daddy is incredible. Mystified is a boring dud right up there with it’s mate When I See You Again.

Unlike most, I have never sought approval from the masses. Never.

Oh Daddy is sleepy. It's the Klonopin of Rumours. There, I said it.

Lastly, I don't eat beets.

I kind of agree. I think Rumours would have been better with “Silver Springs” over “Oh Daddy” and “I Don’t Want To Know.”

The Chain
Silver Springs
You Make Loving Fun
Gold Dust Woman

It is boring. I did use the lyrics when I created the program for my father’s funeral, however. The part about the bridge separating us being a temporary one.

I would’ve gladly ignored the song’s existence, but then they insisted on playing it live. Like give me a break.

I have an aversion to beets that is almost indescribable

The old goat should have let them edit Silver Springs down to Oh Daddy length. That would have been a great swap!

You stay TF away from I Don't Want To Know. Even though $tevie hates it, I love it. It's the first guitar solo I ever learned. It will always have a special place in my heart.

It’s a great song.

I saw a conspiracy theory that Lindsey actually wrote it but gave Stevie credit since they were taking her song off the album. I kind of like that theory.

Well that makes it sound like $he has no talent.

We finally agree on something.

Just try living without me.

But I can't understand how you can call Temporary One a dud when it's so much friggin' fun--and yet the three songs in the middle of side two from her solo album are blahhhhhhhh (largely because she didn't write them).
