Default Stevie songs in New commercials
Since Stevie sold her songs (or whatever), her songs could now be used in commercials, much like Go Your Own Way has been used in 2 commercials, including one for asthma or something like that. This reminded me of a thread from years ago that I couldn't find, but it was about Stevie songs used in commercials. Macfan4life mentioned Stevie jingles in a different thread, which was hilarious, and I thought the idea needed it's own thread.

Imagine ads for the following products:

Stop Dragging My Heart Around- blood pressure medication

I Can't Wait- incontinence/bladder control

Landslide- Ex-Lax

I did think that Tom Petty's family would be cool with that. They seem to have a modicum of class.

He is deceased .His family controls the estate and therefore the use of the songs that he wrote He cannot do it from the grave as far as I know.

It was referring to a song Tom and Mike wrote. BombaySapphire3 brought up Tom’s family in response to that.

Well so much for a light hearted thread meant to provide some laughs LOL. I'm aware Stop Dragging My Heart Around was written by Tom Petty, but I'm happy to substitute The Wild Heart instead.

If Anyone Falls would be PERFECT for a medic alert ad! That is hilarious.
