Stevie's new website "StevieNicksOfficial"
Well it looks like things are finally shaping up at "StevieNicksOfficial" and the site is interactive with a "Forums" section where you can post things...Also there are "News"/"Tour"/"Media"/"Discography" and "Store" sections...Looks like they are attempting to fill the space created by the loss of the "Nicks Fix" and then some as you can finally learn who Stevie Nicks is and listen to her music (Can't pre-view the FM tracks though) all under one roof...

"They aren't planning to incorporate any of his site content. The official website will likely just be a marketing vehicle, similar to how FleetwoodMac.com is set up, and the various updates will be left to the fan sites and social media outlets (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)." "One of the nice things that John mentioned is that Stevie's camp has finally started to embrace social media (because the music industry has been going on that direction) and they are acutely aware of all of the fan sites and message boards." |

Stevie is now getting ahead of me with the social media outlets. These forums is far as I go .LOL.Plus the industry can keep their digital downloads and just keep up with the vinyl releases.

New Stevie Nicks Website Check out the new Stevie Nicks website at stevienicksofficial.com. We have been working closely with our friends at ground(ctrl), who also manage fleetwoodmac.com. Eventually the Nicks Fix will transition to this new site and it will become Stevie's official site. More information will be coming in the next week or two, so stay tuned for some exciting changes and more details. |

Does this mean we might get a Europe solo tour? Lol.
With her regained popularity thanks to American Horror Story and getting older I hope she considers it... I don't see her doing a world tour at all anymore when she's 70+. |

It's nearly identical in structure to FleetwoodMac.com, except for the inclusion of a forum. It looks like a typical official site, with all the marketing components plugged in. That's probably how it should have been in the first place. I don't think anyone goes to an official site for articles and downloads because that's not the record label's focus.
As for old articles on The Nicks Fix, once they're published on the web, they're permanent unless someone makes a concerted effort to remove them, which won't happen.

If you read some of the marketing verbiage on Stevie's official site, you'll see similarities to content that's posted on fan sites. I'm reminded of the time when Jonathan Todd copied the discography sections from The Penguin when FleetwoodMac.com initially tried to come up with content for their site around 2003. Even if they never credit us, it's interesting to see their tracks all over here.

Curious to see the omission of the Buckingham Nicks album in the official discography. Why?
