a. a musician (if relevant)

b. a songwriter (if relevant)

c. a vocalist (if relevant

Well, I suppose that's their "creative peak" by default, but that's not my aesthetic reasoning. (If George Bush were America's only president, would it make much sense to call him America's "finest" president?) As much as I love "Lizard People" & "These Strange Times" as tracks, I don't think they represent any sort of creative peak as songs. In that regard, they're pretty silly, really.

Mick, John, Lindsey, & Christine are still climbing their creative peak for all three relevant categories, IMO.

Stevie hit all of hers in 1982.

David, for Christine and Stevie you said their songwriting peak was respectively 1973 -76 and 1974 -76 - sorry to be dense but does that mean you are including the Rumours songs?

I agree with you for Lindsey but I would also add 1992 for the songwriting peak.

Yes I would include those. You Make Love Fun & Dreams are both excellent signature songs. In fact, Dreams might be Stevie's best song of all.

Soul Drifter is a good song.

when I consider songwriting, I consider both the lyrics & the music & all formal properties I can think of inherent in the song. So for example I would consider the complementary way that the words "My heart was broken/My part was spoken/Now the ground has opened" are wrapped in the chords, as well as the effect of a caesura in each line & the pictographic action of each phrase's melodic arc (in other words if you were to look at the melodic voicing in pictoral/representational terms).
