Default Biggest surprise from the SYW concert

What was the biggest thing that surprised you at a SYW concert?

For me, it was the fact that I really enjoyed "Come" in concert, which I absolutely cannot stand to listen to on the album.

I had never seen LB in concert before this tour, and I must admit that I have underestimated the man.

Normally LB gets on my nerves, but now, I may actually go out and get some of his solo stuff!

Default I know the feeling

That's how I felt about him. Then in 1997, when I saw him on the Dance Tour that change to a lot of admiration.

To me the biggest surprises were Stevie's spins during Stand Back (I've seen her on every tour for 14 yrs. & she's never spun like that for me) and that Gypsy worked live. I've never cared for the live versions before.

Oh, how could I forget?
Stevie replaced BlackDress with NewBlackDress!
Either she got herself a better accountant who can right off her wardrobe, or our Ledgie songs worked!

I imagine he'd be pretty thrilled to know that at 53 he's still winning people over!

The biggest surprise for me was that there are actually people who think they can dance to a drum solo!!!!

But seriously the biggest surprise for me was the last song of the night "Goodbye Baby" which can really rip your heart out. I hadn't realized its' power until I heard it live.

Geez, I got no spins and no NewBlackDress in Columbus. I did get Running Throught The Garden and Destiny Rules though.

Yes! I am a true convert!

All I can say is . . . I cannot believe how good the man was in concert. It is so funny how different things are live than on a video or on TV (I know, duh!).

In the past, I was irritated by all of LB's over-the-top antics. For instance - his moaning on "Not that Funny" from the Mirage video. But the vibe is so different when you see him live.

Also a surprise - how good LB's voice was in concert!

"Tusk" - I never really enjoyed this song, but they did it up.

Lindsey's voice was higher

"Come"

Beautiful Child and the different take on Say Goodbye.

Say Goodbye was much slower and spaced out which meant they was more passion in the voices between Stevie and Lindsey.

Super Stuff!

I have always been a Fleetwood Mac fan first, then a Stevie fan and then Lindsey. When each album came out I always appreciated the work Lindsey did on it as a whole. But man!!!
He has totally made me say WOW to his whole being. I love his intensity, his guitar playing..everything. I am not a total fan of his solo work, except of course OOTC, but this tour has made me really appreciate the man himself. Plus the man is just so darn sexy! But heck I knew that long ago...

My biggest surprise was how "loving" Lindsey was to the crowd. He really knows how to strut his stuff. He is awesome! I did not expect all that from him at all! I was sooooo pleased.

I also was surprised at how "unloving" (in some ways) Stevie was to the crowd - no eye contact, etc. We tried to get her to shake hands, but no. On the other hand, I got 3 handshakes, a blown kiss, and a butt grab from Lindsey. Um, that is I grabbed him....he didn't grab me!

Stevie's not having it with the fans so Lindsey can be the object of everyone's adoration. That's just her way of throwing the show to him. I wonder is he thick as a brick or does he realize it? Stevie, ya gota lover her. She's trying to get him his long overdue attention. What a woman!
