I'm not interested in hearing anyone sing Christine's songs except for Christine. I like that they gave her a nod with Don't Stop on the Say You Will tour. That was palatable for the fact that Lindsey sings half of it.

Togther Stevie and Lindsey have a vast catalog of songs they could unleash.
They didn't feel the need to replace Christine on the last tour. Why is this tour any different?

Because if they are promoting this as the "greatest hits" tour, they need someone to sing a few of Christine's songs, because you can't have FM's greatest hits without Chris's songs.

And "Unleashed: The Greatest Hits, Except the Ones that Christine Did (and the ones that Peter did, but we don't have to mention those)" won't fit on the ticket.

I wasn't happy when Peter Green left...but, we got Christine out of the deal...so don't be so friggin' closed minded. Chances are at this point, there WON'T be a replacement, but if there is, LIVE WITH IT!!

I'd be fine if they only do a couple of Christine's songs. Should they be required to add songs from other retired Fleetwood Mac members? Wouldn't it be completely disingenious not to recognize the hits prior to 1975?

I can't - I'm still in denial that she left the band

What about "Unleashed: the Greatest hits that Lindsey and Stevie wrote" that's not too long and it is kind of catchy

Supposedly, they're doing "Oh Well" this tour. But, if this is really their "swan song" tour, I think they should be mandated to play at least one song by every songwriter who has been in the band (even if it involves having other ex-members make cameo appearances...like Rick Vito & Billy Burnette to do more Peter Green & Jeremy Spencer tunes, (in addition to their own) if they don't get Peter & Jeremy themselves to make an appearance or 20). It won't kill Bucking-shorts to do ONE friggin Bob Welch song a night (Hypnotized) the nights that Bob himself can't make it. And, they set a precedence between 1975-77 doing a few Danny Kirwan songs (Station Man, Sunny Side Of Heaven, Tell Me All The Things You Do), so we KNOW they know the songs.

I like the idea of a "retrospective" tour. How about if they do one song from each Fleetwood Mac album? The Penguin Discography says they have 26 "official" albums (some of which are compilations). One song from each of those would make a good length for a show and would allow them to effortlessly pick songs from each songwriter the band has had. (Except they can skip the Daves, Walker and Mason).

I think this would be a heck of a lot more interesting than the warmed-over Lindsey and Stevie stuff they're actually gonna do. It might actually inspire me to buy a ticket to the show!

Nope...it's gotta be all of 'em, or the criteria is false.

Ouch. Man, you're tough. Okay, we'll do a song by every single one of 'em. There has to be a bathroom break in every show.
