I’d say every Welch-era album. Green-era gets its due in Europe alright.

Agreed! Also, The Other One.

And I will always insist on Out Of The Cradle. ‘Till the day I die.

Again in agreement. Also, Too Old To Rock’n’Roll!

SABB was their biggest hit in the USA. But yeah, their debut overshadows too many good records from their catalogue.

Yoko Ono-her entire catalogue
Peaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!

In addition:

Bob Dylan – Selfportrait, New Morning and Good As I Been To You
The Who – Who Are You
The Kinks – Their entire catalogue from 1968 to 1972.
The Move – All their albums.
Roy Wood – Boulders
Cockney Rebel – The Human Menagerie
Genesis – From Genesis To Revelation
Bee Gees – 1st (yes! )
The Beach Boys – Every album released between 1967-1977, except 15 Big Ones
Black Sabbath – Sabotage
Judas Priest – Sin After Sin (if only for “Last Rose Of Summer” )
Alice Cooper – Dada
Sparks – Sparks, A Woofer In Tweeter’s Clothin’, Indiscreet, Big Beat, Introducing Sparks
The Clash – Sandinista!
Talking Heads – True Stories
Chic – Real People
Talk Talk – Spirit Of Eden, Laughing Stock
Yello – The first three, before they went mainstream.
Arthur Brown – Requiem
Associates – Fourth Drawer Down
Tyrannosaurus Rex – Unicorn, A Beard Of Stars
Pink Floyd – Animals
David Bowie – Low, Heroes
Iggy Pop – New Values
Nina Hagen – Nunsexmonkrock (don’t ask)

Yeah, I guess that does it for starters.

I love Yes's 90125 album. Tons of fans disregard the Trevor Rabin stuff because the songs weren't 30 years long and there weren't any fiddly synthesizer solos. They also complain about it's commerciality. However, if they would actually LISTEN to the album they'd see that every song is totally different from one another and that for 80's rock, it was pretty damn ambitious.

Aerosmith's Draw The Line album is also criminally underrated. Most consider it a step down from Rocks and a dissapointment because they lost the metal and just went back to bein' raw and rockin' and I think it's all the better for it. Listening to Draw The Line makes you feel like a badass who's at the coolest party ever. It was my first Aero album and remains my favorite. No ballads!

I also really like the Mac stuff Future Games up to Heroes Are Hard To Find, which is my favorite Mac album. I refuse to stick up in any way for Tango or Say You Will.

King Crimson's Lizard is also considered one of the big missteps in their career, and in some ways it is. But you can't totally disregard the Crimson/Jon Anderson collaboration on "Prince Rupert Awakes." It's a beautiful vocal performance and a beautiful song. The first side has some devastatingly wierd stuff even by Crimson standards but is a compelling listen. I need to get this on CD!

I also actually prefer Magical Mystery Tour to Sgt. Peppers and also prefer Venus And Mars to Band On The Run. So shoot me!

Question Question...

What's the exact definition of "little secret" albums?

I would assume it would be low selling albums that only you think you know about

All 5 Fleetwood Mac albums from the Bob Welch period, especially my favorites, Mystery To Me & Heroes Are Hard To Find.

Also, Lindsey's Out of The Cradle
Both of Christine's solo albums
Billy Burnette's Try Me
Mick Fleetwood's Zoo-I'm Not Me(this is surprisingly good)
