Default Getting the Buckingham Nicks LP!

I have been trying to get this off ebay for almost 3 years. It never fails I always get outbid! I always put a max bid and always get outbid by .25 cents. I think I am gonna give up
Did anyone else this much trouble trying to get it?

Sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time getting a copy, Jacob.
I totally lucked out in regards to my copy... when I started getting into Stevie & Fleetwood Mac in a big way, my mother's boss told me, "I have an album Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham did before they ever even joined Fleetwood Mac."
The fact that they had recorded an album before they were in FM was news to me, so I asked if I could borrow it. She told me, "Actually, if you make me a cassette copy of it, I'll let you keep the album"

She no longer had a turntable and said that the record was useless to her without one... so I lucked out big time!

I know it's discouraging when you try repeatedly to win something on eBay, and always end up losing out... but keep trying for it. I'm sure you'll win it yet.

Yeah, I saw one in a record store, but someone had colored in Stevie's lips and eyes with blue ballpoint pen. It was 12 dollars.

Never put in a high bid on ebay. You should snipe it right at the end. I se hammertap. You put in your max bid on there and it will bid in the last 10 seconds or so..

I agree, that _usually_ works for me .... [Damn guy who got that Shangri-La poster with 4 seconds to go....! ]

What's the hammertap thing about, by the way?

Can I ask what the average selling price is?

Sorry you're having so much trouble. Don't give up, though!!

You just put in your max bid.. much like you do on ebay except it doesn't bid until the end of the auction so hopefully if your bid is high enough you'r more likely to win. Also handy if you're not there when the auction ends

I bought my copy at a record store some 20 odd years ago.
Pip is right though. I've lost very few auctions with hammersnipe.

I used to feel awful about sniping people, and I still do... to a point... but I'll snipe now if it's something I really want.
"When I want something, I get it."

Usually though I don't want to be bothered, so whenever possible, I go for the "Buy It Now" items.
Hammersnipe sounds like a cool service though... I'll have to look into it.
