I didn't realize there was a concert in IL tomorrow.

I hope FM make it out of Madison okay, there are some pretty major thunderstorms going on.

Lindsey is big on lip sync-ing Stand Back. I think he loves watching Stevie perform that one because she's so high energy. Is he still humping his guitar and doing that insane tribal dance thing during the bongo drum solo into the song? As far as Lindsey playing guitar on that, he does strum I believe but for the most part, it's Carlos and the guys playing, IMO.

Yeah, the humping and tribal dance were still there. He's a creature of habit, I guess.

He got wild during Tusk (shocker)--throwing down his guitar and dancing with Stevie at the end. Is this part of the routine now too?

I always love to watch Sharon's face during the tribal dance. She kind of just looks like, "wtf??" Of course by now she's used to it but I think in the beginning she was rather shocked.

The screencap in my signature is the Tusk dance from Madison Square Garden this past September. It's become a bit routine but I think they have fun with it so they just go for it.

I guess I'm kinda glad I haven't followed the tour too closely--I wasn't aware of the new routines. But the Tusk dance was cute.

I was surprised, Silver Springs lacked fire. I guess I've just watched the Dance version too many times--that was a once in a lifetime performance.

Really, at my concerts I thought Silver Springs was BETTER then the dance. And I think I read Down On Rodeo's Brisbane reviews where he said the same. Are you positive it was lacking fire.

I don't know..on the last leg she was pretty hardcore with the Silver Springs.

: puts on nerd hat :

I believe in London she even belted out "go ahead and try...TRY TRY TRY!" to Lindsey. That? Would have been amazing to see

Even though the dance has become part of a little routine, IMO it's not contrived. I've seen 5 shows..Atlanta will be my 6th this tour. Each time it was a bit different and it has evolved over the past year of touring. I'm sure by the time they get to the end of the tour, it will have evolved again.

It still had fire, just not as much as the Dance concert. I'm comparing it to the "ultimate" version IMHO, so it would be nearly impossible to top it.

That's funny, because at Earls Court he was looking in the opposite direction the entire song.

The girls made a distinct point of watching Taku while LB psuedo masturbated with his guitar at the begining of Stand Back last night. They didn't look ahead until Stevie started singing.

Stevie tore through the end of Silver Springs last night complete with whipping the mic stand around to face him and "go ahead and try" etc...

To be graphic, he was rubbing the guitar on his crotch in a slow circular motion, ith his legs spread, and had his head tossed back and his eyes closed!!!!!

P.S. Lux, I hope you did not just pass out from that mental image!!!
