Exclamation Fleetwood Mac touring with The Eagles?!

I swiped this from the Mick Fleetwood board, posted by Jamie. Bah is right!! NO WAY!! The fact he said, "Let's" makes me think it was Mick or perhaps Stevie who suggested that. What do ya'll think?

While listening to the radio today, I heard a clip that the DJ played right before playing a FM song. It was Lindsey, and it was in response to what happens after this tour. He responded with, " I think we need to get back in the studio and start on another album, but then there are those who say," Let's just tour with the Eagles". " He then made this noise like, bah! (Like a frustrated noise) I called the DJ to see when this was taped, and she said it came from something that was done today for promotional purposes and that's the only clip she had.

Maybe he meant "Let's just tour *LIKE* The Eagles" maybe? Because that would fit the Eagles to a T.

Poor Lindsey, lol.
From this and previous remarks it seems that he'd rather eat dirt than tour with the Eagles, so even if Mick and/or Stevie end up pushing it they would soon give up given his stance.
It has been mentioned somewhere that an FM/Eagles double-bill was a possibility for down the track.... I'd see it as a possibility if Lindsey ever left the group again. I can't say that I wouldn't be curious to see the Stevie/Joe/Don chemistry, so maybe a Stevie & Eagles tour, but not Fleetwood Mac, please.

I would prefer to see a Stevie Nicks/Tom Petty jaunt myself...That one is a long time coming, And I'm sure I'm not the only fan who would like to see that tour come to fruition.

A thousand times better than anything with the Eagles. I don't see chemistry coming from people who are not capable of creating anymore...

Do you realize how freaking expensive an Eagles/FM tour would be. It's bad enough to see the Eagles. Tickets have often started near or over 100 bucks. I always joke that their next tour should be the "You're gonna pay us HOW much?" tour.

I don't even want to think how much Eagles/FM tickets would cost.

OMG I can't beleive I never thought of the Stevie / Tom double-billing tour! (and it's only been what -25 years *yiiiiiikes* since SDMHA came out?). Enough of SheryL Crow and Dixie Chicks and all the fledglings! Let's see Stevie with her equal and I bet we would see some really inspired performances!
