I do, too. She's telling a story a little more straightforward than usual.
"Meet me down by the railway station, I've been a waiting, I'm through waiting, for you." I immediately know what's going and and want to know what happened. I thought it was a nice compliment to Gypsy which reminisces of her NOCAL days. Now she's moving on with her career and love life. I'm not a country fan, but the music is so fitting to the lyrics. The harmonies of CM and LB are sublime as well.

Yeah, I've always heard "you got a way, I can't fight it". And really that makes the most sense

To me I thought you meant, "that is all" of the songs you want remixed.

Love in Store never fails to excite me. It has that buzz, that thrilling hum that comes from new love. The lyric is about the joy of physical attraction and romantic infatuation. The music reflects that joy perfectly. I even love how the song opens, with Mick kicking the song, and the album into gear.

The lyrics are simple but so much from the heart. It reminds you of your first Jr. High school crush (maybe because I was in 7th grade when this song came out). The background vocals are almost sappy but so magical with harmony. Chris has always written love songs but this one seems to be an attempt at a pop song and it works like magic. The beat kicks in and is steady and has a very poppy, catchy vibe that is easy to sing along with. The song translates live perfectly. One of my favorite images of the commercial Mirage tour release is when Stevie is turned to Chris singing "you're the only I ever felt... could be special to me" Stevie is having so much fun singing back up it makes you fall in love with the song all over again. Some amazing guitar work live on the song too. I hope so much for this gem to be added to the setlist next tour. If we cant get Hold Me then please Chris must pick this song from Mirage.

Yes, you're right, that does make sense since the lyric in the verse is "You've got a way of lifting me up instead of bringing me down".
