Thanks Brian...

I just seeded this show... Someone jump on it so that I can see if it's working or not.. .It doesn't show that I'm seeding, only leeching and I can't recall if I did it correctly... Please. Thanks.

I'm on the seed and nothing seems to be happening. Did you download your own entire source file from dime first? You still show as leeching.

Thanks for the upload.

This show makes me nostalgic for the old "classic" Mac. I really miss Christine. And only eight years ago, Stevie was on fire. She screams and breathes venom into these songs (Stand Back in particular, wow). I miss it. Lindsey sounds pristine at this show, too.

Wow, Silver Springs is stunning on this boot. It knocks me out, man. What a fantastic show; the people who attended it are some lucky bastards.

Oh Daddy is magic and Say You Love Me is, too.

Fleetwood Mac

Soundboard
Lineage: cd-r > EAC > Flac frontend level 6

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=49946

"I couldn't believe that a 1977 soundboard exists, but this seems to be the genuine article.
The quality is excellent, although it seems to be a mixing desk recording and suffers from the flat feeling caused by the lack of audience response.
I have been reliably informed that this recording is actually from Oklahoma City, and not Oakland as the artwork implies.
The Oakland label was a mistake created by the original bootlegger of this soundboard, an East Coast seller named Devilwoman. She bought numerous Fleetwood Mac soundboards (including several from the Rumours tour) from the band's historian & archivist, Frank Harding."
Review taken from http://cds.jrd.org.uk/list/cd.fle.o197.shtml

I have included the inaccurately identified Oakland artwork. If someone has the actual OKC artwork,
please provide! This is a great sounding show. Enjoy.

I do not know, sir but the Devilwoman reference reminds me of that old Cliff Richard song.

Just noting that The Trader's Den has the following set now available:

Quote:
Ay, there's some gold here for ye maties willing to dig fer it.
But some words of caution first for ye.....

The sound quality on some of these tracks..........let's see........I think the technical term is..........SUCKS.

I mean it, folks. I have slaved over them with cooledit and you just can't raise the dead sometimes. People like Mickboy, God Bless Him, can do wonders, but I don't know that even a recording studio could fix some of these. Everything has been de-clicked, re-mixed, and hiss has been shaved. Some I speed corrected, but truly I guessed about right speed as I wasn't familiar with the songs involved.

I've chosen to bookend the torrent with great quality songs that somehow got missed for the legit BBC set, but in between, there's a lot that was taped from the radio on a bad mike and the reception was pretty bad. (If you have Fairport Convention doing 'Things You Gave Me' in 1967, you know the quality I mean).

But there are some gems here--Crudup's Mean Old World is great, as is Green's faux Muddy waters vocals on You Need Love (aka Zep's Whole Lotta Love). Jeremy was born to sing Yonder's Wall, and I'm not a Jeremy fan. And then there's Robert Johnson's Dead Shrimp Blues, the highlight. Taped during a raging thunderstorm, this is Green with no accompaniment just playing solo and jeez, is it passionate. I worked a long time on this, trying to cut the volume on each static crackle. Someone said that in the late 60's,it seemed like 3 people in the UK had the Johnson US lp: Keith, Clapton, and Green. Green was the only one who had the guts to play a song like Johnson, naked and unadorned.

The 3 tracks with Christine are better quality and are rare as hell. I know a lot of people who adored Kiln House. I closed with an alternate Oh Well that features part of the quiet ending. Seemed only fair, since this was Green's show.

Fleetwood Mac BBC 1967-1971(?)

FM>unknown Transfer (probably reel taped from radio with mikes)>
cassette(x)>CDR(0)>EAC>cooledit (tirelessly)>FLAC

1. Mean Old World
2. I Need Your Love
3. May I Have a Talk With You
4. Shady Little baby
5. Wine Whiskey & Women
6. Lazy Poker Blues
7. My baby
8. Love That Burns * Post Green sessions w/ Christine
9. Yonder's Wall
10. Psychedelic Song
11. Dead Shrimp Blues (!)
12. Fool That I Used To be
13. Dragonfly *
14. Start Again *
15. Get Like You Used To Be *
16. You need Love
17. Watch Out For Me
18. Oh Well (version 2) (Parts 1 and 2)

I have seen 3 different titles for the 'psychedelic song,' it's just a joke track anyway (albeit with some wld guitar). You guys can debate what the title should be. Sorry about no dates, but I'm sure someone will put a URL up. I'm pretty tired of hearing some of this stuff frankly and, in the spirit of community, hope you guys will share info.

Thanks for reading all my BS. Next time I'll shut up.
Todd

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=50489

Here's a really good audience recording of Fleetwood Mac at the Fillmore West on their last U.S. tour with Peter Green. Great show and quality for the era. set list is in the file. I'll include a sample for those who are not sure about grabbing this one. As it happened, they were opening for the Byrds and a couple of those sets were just up here.
enjoy, Dave

Fleetwood Mac, Sindelfingen, Messehalle 3/4/72 1st Gen. Great audience

Hey friends, I wanted to post this show for some time, but it never happened for some reason, but it´s finally here now, the best sounding F.Mac tape with this lineup, I heard yet!

Unfortunately I couldn ´t imagine in these days , how good this line up really was , but after listening to the records from that period for some years, I really like that period......

The original taper copied for me the original master and a very nice equalized copy, since Taper "U" worked many years on improving his original recordings! Since the original tape sounds great to me without any equalizing, I decided to post the original version!

Tracklist:
1 Tell me all the things you do
2 Future Games
3 Morning Rain
4 Woman of the thousand Years
5 Black Magic Woman
6 Get like you used to be
7 Homeward Bound
8 Drums/Trinity
9 Child of mine
10 Oh Well
Encore
11 Drums/ Whole lotta shakin´going on

Lineup:
Danny Kirwan: g, voc
Mick Fleetwood: dr
John Mc Vie :b
Christine McVie: keyb.,voc
Bob Welch: g,voc

Enjoy this great piece of history!
