I don't know. I think the song could have used a little cow bell

Got to admit, that version makes an otherwise unpalatable song palatable

While on the subject, realistically I can still see them recording an album this spring. It will be part unreleased Lindsey Buckingham solo album (with SN/CM overdubs) added to several Christine McVie songs, added to 3 Stevie Nicks songs (a couple of vault songs and possibly a new one).

Tour rehearsals starting late summer.

Tour starting early/mid autumn coinciding with new album release;

US: October 2018 through to May 2019.

UK/Europe tour: June-

including Glastonbury Headline set 29th June 2019

2020: Fleetwood Mac Gold: a new retrospective

The way Stevie said she had nothing planned for the spring, coupled with the seeming shelving of Lindsey's solo album suggest something could be happening. I'd be annoyed for him, but he wouldn't have to give his songs over to a FM album unless he wanted to. We shall wait and see.

I know how you feel. My emotional responses to the band are stunted from my fatigue and their exposure. I always thought that the soap opera label they gave themselves applied to their romantic lives together, but it's the most hellish aspect of daytime soaps—the lack of story resolution that prevents characters from moving on—that characterizes Fleetwood. Just like with soaps, you can tune out for years and then tune back in, and you'll still be stuck watching scenes with two ex-lovers talking to each other, saying the same thing they were saying when you left them years earlier.

Something occasionally comes out that cuts through 30 or 40 years of bull**** and puts me in touch with what I felt a long time ago. Last year's Tusk Deluxe does that for me—the Village tracks, the live tracks, and the art put me back in touch with emotions I had about Fleetwood Mac in '79 and haven't had since. So I've been listening to Deluxe for a few months now and soaking in it. What a joy!

Stevie and Lindsey have both become insufferable in my opinion. I would hate to be a journalist tasked with interviewing either of them.
Aaaand there's that.

The Blind Boys of Alabama are amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed Beware of Mr. Baker. The filmmaker is lucky he was only punched in the face. I can see why Ginger was deported. He manages to piss off every human being he comes in contact with. Some of the horses probably don't like him either.

Cool! Ginger is quite a terror.

Never thought of this before. But I wonder if
he was the inspiration for the muppets' Animal?
It fits.

I've always thought Mick was the inspiration for Animal. Here's a pic of Mick and one of my daughters being Animals...

Cool picture Kenzo.

I'm only guessing on Ginger.
He's more animal than Mick.

Rusty should do a solo album.

Stevie did say she was taking "three months" off, which is a pretty specific number. Couple that with Lindsey's canceled solo album? You never know with this band. Stevie might have been happy with the poppy, not as weird direction Buckingham Mc Vie took and had a change of heart. Who knows.

This feels a bit like splitting hairs, but since I think so many of us are eagerly awaiting... something (whether it be a tour or an album or some kind of solo effort), Stevie said she was "going to Hawaii for two months," not 3. Which, at the time she said that, would put the two-month mark at the start of April.

Still, if anything were actually in the works, it just feels like we would have heard something by now?

Here's the video where she says that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjYBppDNqco
