You are too predictable. You were going to say:

"Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice"?

Um...
I can't really write out what I want to say.
Though I can say that it's rumored Stevie
was born with a heart two times too small.

Ah. Figured you out:
"Almira Gulch, just because you own half the county doesn't mean that you have the power to run the rest of us. For twenty-three years I've been dying to tell you what I thought of you! And now...well, being a Christian woman, I can't say it!"

Honestly, none of us knows for sure wtf happened for Lindsey to leave again.
We can assume all we want, but I will say, I'm not buying a ticket to see a "farewell Tour" without all 5 members of the classic "Rumours" line-up.
It's almost feeling like "Behind the Mask, part 2."
I'll wait until the next Stevie Solo tour.
I really think they should disband, instead of continuing.
It's the end of an era, without a proper finale.

Frankly I hope they quit trying to call it a farewell tour at all for the reasons you mentioned/ being without Lindsey.

Part of me is having a good laugh/cry over seeing the band without Christine during the Stevie/Lindsey years, seeing them all together, seeing one of the Lindsey and Christine shows, so I mean I guess all that was missing was a Christine and Stevie show from my collection? It's almost funny in a "gosh dang this band drives me crazy as much as I love them" kind of way. 😉

I agree 100%!
This is pretty much rediculous.
They all need to really grow the "F" up.
They cannot reinvent the band in the twilight of their careers.
And it really is sad they are ending the era on such a weird, sad note.
The FM board, as usual, is blaming Stevie and Mick. Well, mostly blaming Stevie. But nobody knows what really happened.
I'm not taking any side.
But this really breaks my heart.

Rumours are running wild, Stand Back before you may have to Go Your Own Way! Seriously, this news is devastating but expected. I am surprised it has taken so long. What is sad is that the energies between Stevie and Lindsey on stage are magical, although they have been long over as a couple their voices meld together to make magic. I feel as if that magic is gone but maybe not? Time will tell. "Time cast its spell on you but you won't forget me!"

But from what I've seen noone has been mentioned any upcoming tour being a "farewell" one for quite a while, even before the recent shocking events the last interviews' declarations stated that it wasn't necessarily the last tour.

They NEED to disband. I think ticket sales will reflect on that when the tour ends.
In my opinion, They shouldn't tour at all without Lindsey. I think they are contractually obligated to do this tour. But they need to simply break-up when it concludes.

Yes, they are very likely contractually obligated to do this tour, but I still hope that in the end they'll be able to reunite, whatever happened can't be worse than anything that happened in the decades before.

I would feel sorrier for Lindsey if he had been a “nice guy” but while I originally was sad by the news, I find it humorous now. Life will go on. All five of them will be fine. They thrive on the drama. They all love being the victim.
