Well that was an unexpected trip to the O2 shop. I've now got an extremely expensive front row M&G ticket for Manchester, the same as I had last tour.

Well, I spent hours refreshing the O2 presale page but failed. I had a ticket in my grasp at about 9.05 this morning but it was too far back, so I foolishly gambled on finding a better one...

I'll be back again for the Live Nation presale tomorrow - wish me luck! I must see Christine!

I tried at 9 with O2 priority and was going through it for 20 minutes and it kept having trouble with my password so I temporarily gave up.

I decided to try again at 3 o'clock which I thought would be useless and I actually got 5 tickets in Block 13 for Birmingham for £80 each. I'm thrilled! Last year we went we were in Block 15 which was excellent but I think Block 13 is also ok. They'll just be a bit smaller!

i thought I would never get through. Ticketmaster site always crashes. All thanks to the presale! It was meant to be!

I've never got tickets before for a concert.

Am I too late?

I want to go to Birmingham.

IF I wait till Friday evening will there be any seats left?

How do I buy tickets?

Any tips would be useful.

Thanks in advance

Did anyone get tickets for London on the floor? What did they cost?

I'm not an expert at ticket buying, but this might help.... and I'm sure you're not too late.

I'd suggest seeing what's available at the Livenation pre-sale tomorrow. If there is nothing suitable then go for the general sale on Friday. The longer you leave it on Friday, the less choice of seats you will have. It depends on whether you are ok with any seat, or are looking for a seat nearer the stage. People wanting the best seats will be trying to buy tickets at 9am.

I'm not sure how quickly the concerts sold out in 2013, but they did sell out, so I don't know what will be left on Friday evening.

You can purchase the pre-sale tickets from the Livenation website - you will need to register first. For the general sale on Friday you can either buy through Livenation or Ticketmaster.

It's a good idea to get an idea of the venue seating plan beforehand - you can find them at Seatwave/Getmein websites (they already have re-sale FM tickets for sale and have the seating plans for the venues).

Thank you so much for your reply!

So when I come home from work on Friday evening, I can still expect there to be seats, even if not very good ones, left?

It might be that you're too late. I remember last year they were practically sold out for Glasgow at 9am last year. You can always try an official reseller, just make sure you don't get ripped off.

Yes there's a possibility it could sell out by the evening. You might find something in the pre-sale tomorrow evening if you can't buy tickets during the day.

Resellers are a good option if they sell out. I bought a re-sale ticket last year. You can get good seats this way, but you will pay more. Good luck

I expect Amsterdam and Antwerp to sell out tomorrow. At least Amsterdam will go pretty fast. Last time two concerts sold out in two days i believe so i think Amsterdam wil get one extra. Antwerp was close to sold out but those prices were a bit higher than Amsterdam... Why no presale from livenation for other European concerts and only in the UK?

I'm IN!!

For Cologne. First row. Can't tell you how happy I am, but far too expensive. Last time I got front row for 100 € - this time 300 €.

First they only sold Mick's VIP packages. For 800 €. I was tempted, but - I waited and was lucky. Still. Christine - you better be worth the 200 €.

I'm in a not to cancel meeting tomorrow from 10am till 11am ... :-(

So I have my mother lined up at home behind her laptop to get me tickets for Antwerp and Amsterdam ...

Hopefully she'll manage ... but I'm confident she will.
