The press release on the FM website promotes the hashtag #FleetwoodMac2013 or something like that... interesting. FM should get a twitter.

Personally I love the fact that the dates have gone on sale so early. It gives time for people to budget, plan and save for travel, accommodation etc. This has been the exact opposite of how Stevie's recent tours have been sold. I'm just waiting for Europe/Aus/NZ dates now!

That's how I feel. I guess we really do have to buy the tickets NOW, if you want to get the best seats. So, that is holiday money out of our pockets. But as far as planning vacations and travel, this really helps an awful lot to have four months advance notice. Michele

I've noticed that the concert schedule has almost no back to back shows (meaning shows on consecutive nights). Is that because they want/need a day off in between shows, or do you think that they are keeping spaces open so that if they sell out, they can add multiple shows in certain locations?

I'm debating between Philly and NYC - has anyone ever been to the venue in Philly? If so, what were your impressions?

I noticed that too... There are only 6 back to back show days out of the 2 1/2 months. I think it's so they don't burn out.

AND it's cheaper this time around. In 2003, the top tier ticketmaster price for the MGM was $250 each (which I paid). This time around it's $169.

I may be able to swing Vegas if I can find some decent packages, but I am going to Anaheim for sure. The Hollywood Bowl is out for me - those A-holes want $295!!!!! Give me a break.

I'm in East Lansing til the end of April. FM goes to DC April 9th.
I don't get back to northern Va until May. FM goes to Detroit in June.

I'm calm.

I'm pretty new to the whole concert thing in general, so please bear with my silly question. While I saw Stevie this summer, I've been waiting for ages to see Fleetwood Mac come around the Buffalo, NY area, and I'm pretty bummed about the lack of dates in NY. Do they commonly add more dates as time goes by, or is this it?

More dates are normally added over time. It's still really early.

Kevin, I think it could be for both reasons!

I've bee waiting to see Fleetwood mac for years. I'm planning to go to the Detroit show. I'm just hoping that tickets won't be to expensive. The only real accommodation I need is disabled seating. So, I'm hoping to swing buying ticketws.
