Any word on this new album,

So has anybody heard anything recently on local radio or magazines about this new album. Last I heard was that it was due for an Autum 07
release then a Spring 08 release.

Has the fact that he hasnt got a Label caused this...... why cant he just release it himself !! Its still only gonna sell the same amount of CD's.
Because Im thinking Under the skin hasnt created that many more die hard Lindsey fans in this world. Lindsey has his fans and thats it i dont see a 500,000 or 1 million albums of a sales increase this time round

I thought the albums were to be released back to back. It feels like a lifetime since Under the Skin Was released.
I'm bustin to go see him play live when he Tours.

Well, "UTS" made it out there. I'm sure he'll find a way to get the record out. He may be waiting to release it until he's ready to tour behind it like the last one. I would imagine it would be out this fall (2 years since UTS!). That, or he's doing a "Fleetwood Mac" morph-thing and it won't get released until later...

When Lindsey was on Rockline, he said it would be fall 2008. That's the last I heard anything.

Maybe im wrong here, i usually am..........

On the Bonus bit of the DVD at the end, wasnt he ringing round a load of people to see if the were interested in signing him.

That was for the initial UTS CD release. There has been some confusion. Lindsey tried to clear that up when asked about it on rockline...but not sure people picked up on that either. The DVD is about the making of the initial CD. Apparently Lindsey couldn't find a label interested but eventually reprise/warner picked up.

Yes the tour promoting UTS probably won him more new fans than the album itself did. So, get out an album, so you can tour Linds, if for no other reason. Michele
