I may have missed discussion on the board of this award when it happened, but did anyone notice that two years ago this month, Christine received an award? Here's what I came across on the BMI site, http://www.bmi.com/news/entry/335047:

Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie was among the honorees at the 33rd Annual Gold Badge Awards presented by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. The gala luncheon, sponsored by the U.K.'s Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society (MCPS), was held Oct. 25 at the Savoy Hotel in London.
There's a nice picture of her with a guy from BMI. I' m wondering if this award was purely P.R., or maybe an excuse to have a lavish luncheon, or if the award really means anything. Since Chris showed up for it, I imagine it must have been important.

It wasn't much publicised at the time but we did discuss it (alebeit a few weeks late)

she looked pretty good didn't she?

Thanks for the link. Too bad it doesn't say too much about the award. A Youtube of her acceptance speech (if she made one) would have been nice, too.
