Default Gone Too Far

Gone Too Far just came on my random IPod mix and it reminded me how this (like many of the songs from SWS) would have been a great full band song. He really works the vocals to give it that "Fleetwood Mac" sound.

gorgeous gorgeous song. he needs to get back to solo asap.

about playing it with FM? it's not a FM song. unlike some other FM band members, he has enough great FM songs to play in concert with them, he doesn't need to drag in solo songs (however much i'd love to hear them).

Love this song. It might sound great with FM but I want them to stick to band songs. Solo however.... I would love to hear it!!

"Gone Too Far" is a great song, and is reminiscent of his 'Out of the Cradle' material in a few places. I love the rhythm of it, and the harmonies. Great lyrics too. Definitely one of the better tracks from 'Seeds We Sow.'

Let's not forget he did "Go Insane" on the 'Dance' DVD and tour.

"Stand Back" has a different flavor than any of Stevie's band songs, and therefore adds some variety to the setlist. Lindsey has songs with Fleetwood Mac that are in the same style as the live arrangement of "Go Insane," so it makes more sense for him to do those songs instead of a solo track in the same vein.

I don't think it should be done at a MAC show my point was it could have been a great MAC song.

I've always thought "Gone Too Far" would've been a great Mac song as well. Alot of the songs from SWS and OOTC could've been, really. Goes to show how much of a "stamp" Lindsey puts on the Mac's overall sound.
