Default The Dance IMHO

My vote's with The Dance, only because I liked the energy of their live performance. Also, it was quite an achievement considering the baggage they all brought to the reunion.

IMHO Rumours is an incredible collection of music, but I found The Dance more interesting--just because of the history that preceded it. Also, the quality of their live performance was exquisite. This band is pro all the way.

Wow.. that was really tough.. but I chose The Dance. Throughout this whole thing, I had it in my head that I really wanted Rumours to be the Survivor. However, I have since changed my mind. I love Rumours.. but to me, The Dance is more of a favorite of mine. Silver Springs.. enough said! I also really like listening to the live versions of songs more than the original studio version. In the end, Rumours will still probably win out and that is cool too!

I have to go for Rumours.

That year spent recording the album, for me, defined the band. Against all the bitching and hostility came an album that remains to this day one of the biggest selling albums of all time. My favorite "Rumours lineup" (says it all doesn't it) Mac songs are here, The Chain, GYOW and GDW.

The Dance is a really great album. A great live album, no, because it was heavily modified and overdubbed by Lindsey and Elliot afterwards and is not, I feel, truly live. Still amazing though.

Okay, I really, really thought I'd go for Rumours...but like Michelle I changed my mind and picked The Dance. Main reason being Silver Springs, and just the whole reunion aspect. SO much history behind that album....

Even though I'm sick to death of Rumours and hardly ever listen to it anymore I chose it just because when I first heard it I was blown away by it. The Dance is good but I still think of it as not an original since its really a compilation of their live songs (kudos to Silver Springs though) But my real vote goes to TUSK - my favorite album of all time!

Cool The Dance

...because you feel power through it. And (maybe a stupid reason) because it's longer.

And because I couldn't find a better reason.

And because Rumours will win anyway.

Exclamation Rumours

The Ledgies have spoken:

RUMOURS IS THE SURVIVOR ALBUM!

Not a big surprise, but The Dance put up a good fight in the end.

Well in actuality, the whole FM catalog of albums is a survivor in my opinion!

It was fun...thanks for playing.
