Default Round 1 Eliminations: Penguin

This is the sixth poll for the Fleetwood Mac Song Contest (1970-1974), which is the Penguin album. I changed the post title to "Eliminations" to make things clearer

***Reminder that you will vote for which songs should not be included in the definitive list of songs for this era.***

Poll closes in 4 days.

Dave Walker really had no place on this album. I think they were just overcompensating because they were so used to have 3 vocalists. Thank goodness they realized they were better off with Bob and Christine

So basically, I voted on both Walker songs haha

Hey, what's going on with Bright Fire???? Is wonderful!!!!

The songs of Dave Walker were not the ideal songs to include in an album, they're still rare for me, but I'm starting to listen them with more attention. If I must save one, maybe could be The Derelict.
Regards!

I voted for everything but Did You Ever Love Me and Caught in the Rain. Just not really a fan of this album. Losing Danny really hurt them here.

I love Bright Fire, and I love Caught in the Rain. But, to me, neither of these lovely songs seem "definitive." My thoughts about "The City" and The Way I Feel" from Mystery are the same. But, really, does it matter? I listen to Bright Fire more than I listen to Revelation, a song I didn't pick.

That sucks man. I'm surprised "The Derelict" is even making it this far. I was just never really the biggest fan of Dave Walker. His two songs on the album could have given another Christine McVie or Bob Welch song. Or even another Bob Weston song seeing as "Caught in the Rain" was his only self-penned song in the group....Such a great guitarist.

With more than 50% of votes (I'm a) Roadrunner and The Derelict are eliminated.
