Well...sort of, anyway. Not a bad review in terms of an overall appreciation of the music, but there were a bunch of errors and omissions - not surprising coming from someone who seems to have limited knowledge of the Green-era band. The reviewer repeats the well-worn but questionable stories about Green's Munich experience and his reasons for leaving the band - hey, it was in Wikipedia so it must be true!

No mention of Duster Bennett writing "Jumping At Shadows" - I doubt the reviewer has ever heard of him. And there seems to be huge confusion over who's playing on what tracks (stating that Spencer plays guitar on the "Rattlesnake Shake" jam and implying that it was Green playing lead on "Only You," "I Can't Hold Out," and "Got To Move"???). The reviewer may enjoy the music but it's pretty obvious that they don't have much of a clue about who's playing what. I'll admit to being the same way when I first started listening to the band...assuming that Green played nearly all the lead guitar. It takes time to listen carefully enough to realize that was far from the case.

Nice that the reviewer enjoyed the CD, but hopefully they will get further into listening to this music and eventually gain a deeper understanding of it.

Hey, this is a tea party everyone can like!

Didn't know the earlier set was worth anything, so I guess I missed my chance to cash it in... that happened to me with a Honeys CD that was selling for a bit until a new and improved collection was released. Oh well.
