Default Set list

I’m really hoping for a very fresh/new set list. I think he will take advantage of this Anthology release to dig deep. I would love to hear....

Slow Dancing
I Want You
Time Bomb Town
Dancing Across the USA
Countdown
You Do Or You Don’t
Love Runs Deeper
Down on Rodeo
It Was You
Gone Too Far
Sleeping Around the Corner

Loving the Down on Rodeo love! Yes please.

It's an FM track, but I'd really like to hear Miranda.
(Also I'd like him to chose songs that are easier for him to sing range-wise, and I think that might be one of them.)

Also Wait for You!

Don't need to hear GYOW or ISA or NGBA or Big Love!

I don't want to hear NGBA, GYOW, Big Love, or ISA either! I'm just being realistic.

I also hope for a fresh setlist but I fear its not going to happen. Lindsey seems to always play key staples in almost every set: Never going back again, Big Love, I'm so afraid, acoustic Go Insane, etc.

I would LOVE to hear

Wrong - how appropriate of a song today. Odd its not even on his best of CD. It was the first single of his most acclaimed album too with a fantastic video.

Loving Cup - my favorite Lindsey solo song

Soul Drifter

Countdown

Tango in the night

Save Me a Place

Peacekeeper

Go Insane - full band

Slow Dancing

Anything from Buck/McVie

Thumbs up

made a list of songs i'd LOVE to hear live -
  • includes songs i never heard live and the ones i did but not enough times;
  • excludes songs that i heard many times live, whether i love them or not.

list is not in the order of how bad i wanna hear the song, but instead in the order of albums, and includes some Tusk, SYW and EP songs, too, and a couple of extra ones.

Go Insane (full band)
D.W. Suite
Don't Look Down
Wrong
This Is the Time
You Do or You Don't
Doing What I Can
Turn It On
To Try for the Sun
Down on Rodeo
Wait for You
Deep Dense
The Right Place to Fade
Gift of Screws
Underground
In Our Own Time
That's the Way That Love Goes
Rock Away Blind
One Take
Gone Too Far
She Smiled Sweetly
Seeds We Sow (electric)
On With the Show
She Acts Like You
Walk A Thin Line
What Makes You Think You’re The One
The Ledge
Love Minus Zero
Murrow
Red Rover
Peacekeeper (solo version)
Steal Your Heart Away
It Takes Time

thought about this some more - so this tour is to support 3-disc Anthology, right? normally when he supports a new album LB does 6-8 songs from it. considering all these songs but 2 are old but also on the supported album, how about he does 8 songs from each disc? that would give him a set of 24 songs which is about as many as he normally played (other than on OMS which had way to short set).

here is my pick (bolded) of 8 from each disc:

CD One:
1. Don't Look Down
2. Go Insane

3. Surrender The Rain
4. Rock Away Blind
5. Holiday Road
6. Doing What I Can
7. Trouble
8. I Must Go
9. Street Of Dreams
10. Soul Drifter
11. Show You How
12. Shut Us Down (Live)
13. Slow Dancing
14. Countdown
15. Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
16. In Our Own Time
17. Illumination
18. Gift Of Screws
19. Did You Miss Me
20. Down On Rodeo
21. Treason

CD Two:
1. Hunger
2. Not Too Late
3. Sleeping Around The Corner
4. I Want You
5. Time Precious Time
6. Stars Are Crazy
7. Love Runs Deeper
8. You Do Or You Don't
9. I Am Waiting
10. Time Bomb Town
11. Turn It On
12. Seeds We Sow
13. Underground
14. Dancin' Across The USA
15. Gone Too Far
16. End Of Time
17. D.W. Suite
18. Ride This Road

19. Say We'll Meet Again

from the 3rd CD, i'm just mostly trying to be realistic, looking at his live staples:
CD Three:
1. Trouble (Live)
2. Go Insane (Live)
3. Bleed To Love Her (Live)
4. Stephanie (Live)
5. Never Going Back Again (Live)
6. Big Love (Live)

7. Under The Skin (Live)
8. All My Sorrows (Live)
9. Cast Away Dreams (Live)
10. Holiday Road (Live)
11. Tusk (Live)
12. I'm So Afraid (Live)
13. Go Your Own Way (Live)

I'm not as optimistic as Elle! More like 20 songs and I'll be ecstatic:

Love Runs Deeper
Loving Cup
Johnny Stew
Don't look down
Gift of Screws
Treason
You do or you don't
Soul Drifter
Doing what I can
Turn it on
Bwana
Slow Dancing
Bel Air Rain
Countdown
Treason
Shut us Down
Trouble
Show you How
Illumination
Gone too Far
End of Time
Stars are Crazy

With Hunger and Ride This Road it would be 24 songs, so I guess I'm that optimistic!

Gotta have Soul Drifter and Countdown

And some of his more rocking numbers:
Gift of Screws
Wrong (gotta have Mr Rock Cock on this tour)
This is the Time
Great Day
Johnny Stew
Bel Air Rain
I could even go for That's How We Do It In LA

and
Don't Look Down
Street of Dreams

Please please NOOOOOO
Illumination
Doing What I Can
One Take
I can skip most of Go Insane (except that song)
sorry

Also good:
Show You How
Stars Are Crazy

Not Too Late --the choruses were fantastic in 2007

The only songs I don't want to hear are Big Love and NGBA.
I am so over those songs live
However, I would bet my life they will be in the set
