Talking Divas Live

Let me just say this: it was the BEST Divas Live EVER. Nothing compares to last night. Yes, Jessica Simpson and Joss Stone sucked, but the rest were great. The only thing I really disliked was Tom Jones and the Pussycat Dolls; they cheapened the show.

My favorite song was "Time After Time" with Patti Labelle and Cyndi Lauper. It was very off-the-cuff, but I loved it. Cyndi Lauper outsang everyone else, ESPECIALLY during Lady Marmalade.

Debbie Harry was great and I really dug Rapture. I love her hair these days, personally. She looks sexy as hell with it.

I didn't see the entire show but what I saw I did enjoy much better than previous shows. I loved hearing Time After Time and Blondie.

I'm totally sick of Jessica Simpson, however. She's everywhere now. And I can't stand her version of "Take My Breath Away." And shes always wearing outfits now that her boobs are completely falling out of.

I agree that Tom Jones and the Pussycats cheapened the show.

I missed it (really, I DID mean to watch it!) I'll try to catch one of the 50 replays that will be on this weekend.

ITA! I thought it was the best one ever, including the one Stevie did! (Sorry!) Cyndi definitely still has the pipes! That Patty LaBelle/Cyndi duet - they milked the ending so long, I was about to put a bowl of cereal up to the TV screen!

Who was the "lead" singer of the Pussycat Dolls? Not Carmen, that other chick. She could "sang!"

I don't know, I left the room when those ho's were on.

The whole show was just awesome, though. And Sheila E.! She was great, too!

I just saw the duet with Jessica and Gladys and then when Joss Stone added herself to the mix. Jessica just couldn't keep up and the entire time I just worried if her boobs would fall out.

Now you have sparked my interest. I did see the beginning of Sheila E and she really commanded the stage...

I haven't seen it. I want to see the older singers. (BTW, I do not care for Cyndi's version of At Last, though I do like much of her stuff.)
I wanted to catch Sheila E. I think she's a talent. BTW, remember when her brother was Stevie's drummer?
