yeah the gold lining is special. So there is something that isn't black on her! The satin lapels are also a nice touch.

Well now she is singing the theme song to a dud. Critics hate the movie. That's what she gets for not doing the Fleetwood Mac album.

All the aforementioned movies in which Stevie was featured in the soundtrack had and still have bad critic reviews, so this isn't really a thing.
Sometimes bad (or so considered by critics) movies have a great soundtrack, see Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, a lot of Bond movies, The Bodyguard, Highlander, Marie Antoinette...

Ooooh didn't see the satin lapels, will have another look.
At least some thought of dressing up, is in this outfit...
It is difficult to remember sometimes, how she used to dress.

What Fleetwood Mac album? Lindsey and Christine have both made it very clear their album is a duets album, so I'm confused. Lindsey especially went out of his way to say the Buck/Vie album was never meant to be a FM album. You're not suggesting they're... lying, are you?

And Stevie's song is great, regardless of whether the movie is good or not. One has nothing to do with the other lol!

Heavy Metal had a cool scene with Blue Lamp.
School of Rock really featured Edge of 17 plus a conversation about Stevie.
Against All Odds played at the club scene.

Errr, Stevie is not responsible for the movie
The song is a great song and "she" sounds fabulous.

True. I always forget about Heavy Metal and School Of Rock. They showcase those two songs very well.

Against All Odds is strange because the song in the club scene is a completely different version than the soundtrack version (which is off putting) and when the verse starts it's not very audible. Another missed opportunity to showcase (what turned out to be) an amazing song, at least what ended up on the soundtrack, in my opinion.

For sure. I'm a huge fan of Violet and Blue.

yup, and I'm still buying the soundtrack to the movie, Dud or not, cause I need to own this song. It's breathtakingly beautiful.

I'm annoyed that I have to spend 10 bucks on one song. Hate it when they force the entire album. Every track is available to buy separately except Stevie's song. Greedy.

Agreed. Whatever the movie is, the song has its own life.

So she recorded this pretty song for this movie.... But how did this all come about? Does she know someone who worked on this film or something? It's just kinda random and came out of nowhere, her doing this track. Does anyone here know?
