Maybe NOW he can prove to her
Oh, thrown down like a barricade
Maybe now he could prove to her That he could be good for her And they should be together About just how much he never really told her Thrown down About how difficult it had been To be without her, thrown down |

To my ear it's an odd simile. Are barricades in any context "thrown down"?

I think it’s appilication is even more telling. Especially in light of LBs “passive aggressive” comments.
Its as if she had contemplated a major disruption to put all the cards on the table and force his hand. While in 2000ish it was more of a fascination type contemplation, by 2017 she had actually decided it was her only course of action. Last edited by ryan4136; 12-16-2018 at 08:39 AM.. |

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call her a man? How many seas must a white dove sail Before they sleeps in the sand? And how many times must the cannon-balls fly Before we're forever banned? The pronouns, my friend, are blowin in the wind The pronouns are blowin in the wind.
