Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Lists are always so hard

But, OK. For today, I'll go with:

Shut Us Down (LIVE)
Go Insane (LIVE acoustic)
I"m So Afraid (LIVE)
Save Me a Place
Red Rover
In Our Own Time (especially LIVE)

2. Red Rover

That was easy.

The next three....not so much.

3. Go Insane
4. Time Bomb Town
5. Doing What I Can
Haha I know, numbered lists of this sort are always a bit arbitrary, but I'm glad you like lists too! I figured 5 was a bit easier to pick than ranking 10.

Love reading everyone's picks

I was definitely going back and forth on that one! I love NGBA, but opted for Say Goodbye instead.

Really? What is it about it that bugs you? Honestly just curious

especially the live version sounds like one of those old Julio Iglesias type of schlagers (from i guess the 60s or 70s?). can't stand those.

(i do appreciate the baroque-y guitar parts, but the schlager sound of of the whole song way overshadows the guitar for me)

NGBA is like, Lindsey's trademark song. I have around 15 versions of it on my ipod, it's my Rhiannon. And i love how, on the last DVD, when he starts the song, and the audience cheers, he has that smile that says so much about him and the song itself. I just love it.
Say Goodbye is great too, it's a great live moment between him and Stevie, but i don't like the studio version.

You love acoustic music, don't you? I like your list, because Shut Us Down, Trouble, and Save me a place (which is an underrated song) almost made it on mine.

That was another song I struggled with! I love Save Me a Place, but I suppose I looked at my list as a "stranded on a desert island" list heh, so I tried to have a balance of acoustic/softer and harder songs.

yeah, it's schmaltz-y sounding. how can you get why i don't like the song but not accept my reason why?

a while ago, LB said in some interview that he would hope to change his style as he ages, maybe to some Sinatra-like style... to go with his age. (guess he was thinking screaming, barking and guitar-humping may be less appropriate as he ages ) he succeeded with this song . glad he decided not to stick with that musical style after that one try.

Fleetwood Mac:
The Ledge
What Makes You Think You're The One
Walk A Thin Line
Caroline
Red Rover

& if this were a top seven list, You & I Part 1 & Book of Love would make it in there.

Solo:
Bwana
Bang The Drum
D.W. Suite
Surrender The Rain
Under The Skin

again, continuing in order of favorites (at this moment in time) if this were a larger list:

Countdown
Cast Away Dreams
Show You How
Time Precious Time
Underground
Treason
Rock Away Blind
Seeds We Sow
In Our Own Time
When She Comes Down.. (I've been listening to SWS a lot lately, is it obvious?)

I knew I wouldn't be able to make a real top 5 list ha
