Rock Gems of the 70s: Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well
I know, I know, this was recorded in 1969, and the real Fleetwood Mac wasn't around for much of the 70s as Peter Green faded into mental illness. Still, they were ahead of their time (and they were also the greatest blue-eyed blues band bar none) and Oh Well is a great example of their inventiveness. The album this song comes from, Then Play On also features their rock anthem Rattlesnake Shake, well worth checking out. http://www.musicalramblings.com/2011...s-oh-well.html |
