Christine's favourite drinks....??
Recently I've been really stuck on trying to figure out the name of one specific alcoholic beverage that I've heard Christine was a huge fan of back in the 70's. Aside from the Perignon what are some other wine she drank? Wondering if a wino could help me out. Usually I would find a way to find out but since Laura been busy lately I have no other options :/
Hope someone could help me out! Much love & thanks

Wow, I don't know. It seems like she would always be drinking wine, red and white, but no name stands out in my memory. But speaking of her favorite things, I watched The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel this weekend and Maggie Smith was obsessed with hobnobs. She tried to take them to India and she couldn't get them past airport security and it made me think of Christine and laugh. Michele |

She loved Pouilly Fuisse for a bit. It's an excellent white wine.

Blue Nun, Pouilly Fuisse, and Dom Perignon come to mind. I also recall some references to gin and tonic, either in Ken or Carol Ann's book.
Fwiw, I got hobnobs into Italy this past week

Ann also refers to Vodka Tonics on Christine (and John's) side of the stage being replenished as needed

I think Heineken was the official beer of Fleetwood Mac (Mick mentions getting cocaine given to him in Heineken bottle caps in his book)...Lindsey's even holding a bottle of it on the inner sleeve of the Buckingham Nicks album. Not sure if I drank it before I got the Buckingham Nicks album or not...but, I used to get a case each of dark & light after every one of my band's gigs back in the late '70s for our "unwind hour".

Chivas Regal, I think, if no one has already mentioned it!

Blue Nun! I think it's a wine brand. I recall reading an interview/article about the band in my early fandom, the latter 1970s where II think Christine referenced it. I wasn't of drinking age then, but the name left an lasting impression on me, and for a litttle while I associated the band with that brand.
I may have read it in a Rolling Stone article. And maybe it wasn't even Christine. It's a very foggy, distant memory.
